lots of riders out today - it was awesome to exchange so many "scissors" with fellow two wheelers! |
Ran into a couple gents with collector plates. Chatted up a storm, ended with everyone bitching about Richmond and Chinese. :lol |
Gave a wave to a rider as I passed him, he was sitting at a red light. How could I tell he as a newb? He started waving back, literally, hand up in the air waving back and forth like a kid so excited. Gave me a laugh and brought a huge smile to my face. Thanks for the chuckle. |
Sexsmith and Capstan Way 4 way intersection. A couple c-lais in white RX330 blew thru the stops as if they never existed, while they flailed their arms at each other in the suv fighting. fer f**k sakes pull over and duke it out, not while the vehicle is in motion! |
Do many of you guys run go pro's or cams on your bike? I could imagine riding in the lower mainland it would be VERY beneficial to have some video proof if someone comes wandering into your lane, or left turns in front of you and you have to lay down Posted via RS Mobile |

Hey guys, I just bought some Vortex clip-ons and I was wondering which shop you would recommend for installation that doesn't charge abhorrent prices. I was quoted at the Honda dealership a minimum of $150 for an hour and half of service. I really don't want to go back there, I leave every time feeling violated. |
arent clip ons pretty straight forward to install?? edit: nvm unless you have an air compressor the grips are gonna be a huge pain in the ass. shop rates are all pretty similar. you can take it to bayside and at least know that the tech knows what he's doing lol. |

Lol k I got another random scooter ing question. Is it legal/illegal to park your scoot on the sidewalk? Obviously not across the whole thing, OR where there isn't generous space. I see lots of people park them next to bike racks. Also sometimes sidewalks have that 3' strip of grass between the curb and the sidewalk. People always park em on there. As you can tell I'm very green thumb to all this stuff. But I'd prefer to ask instead of learn a hard lesson. The reason it popped into my head was thinking about Stanley park. If I wanted to ride the ruck to the beach, it would kill me to have to spend $10 on parking for something so small. Couldn't I just sneak it up next to the bikerack? Or is that just asking for trouble Posted via RS Mobile |
No it is not legal. You see other ppl do it but they are risking a ticket for being on a sidewalk or boulevard. You can risk it but don't get upset if you do get a ticket. |

z3german:  320icar: i think you can park in between cars that are parked at meters, also there are usually bike meters at corners that are a reduced rate |
lol i just put it there for a second to put my lock on for work and the stupid blue tooth stopped it from sitting on the mirror...... only the visor got scratched and its not in my vision so i got lucky |

Lol, thankfully the ruckus has a perfect place to rest your helmet while you slip on your jacket etc. and wow I'm learning how impatient people can be on the road. Practice practice practice! Posted via RS Mobile |
