People can be so inconsiderate. It sucks that it happened though. Does it look like it was just ripped off, or carefully removed?

It was removed. I lock tighted the bolts on the stainless fender. Someone unbolted it, removed the fender, and finger tightened the bolt back in. At least they didn't break anything.

the normal reaction for most people would be to get rain gear and trade in for an adventure bike...

but something tells me you will continue to ride in the gixxer with your normal gear on because you are Gh0strider...

So Im planning on commuting to school on the bike. Aside from getting a top case, is there another way of securing my helmet to my bike securely. Cause I don't want to carry around my helmet and my helmet lock doesn't seem too safe .

It's not just locking it that I'd be concerned about. If you're leaving it on your bike all day, think about the unpredictable weather, or even creepy crawlers like a spider nestling up in there while your in class. Being your helmet with you, or buy a lame looking storage rack/case/bag thing

Riders corner is oddly quiet since my leaving of the group. I didn't know I was your rock! Your glue, your fabric of society!

So, I went and test drove the 500 abarth, did all the math and paperwork last weekend. I jus could not pull the trigger on it. For the price vs the amount of car you get, it's priced about 4k too much. Even with .99% financing and dealer cuts, it still worked out to be $280 bi-weekly for 60/mo. That works out to a hilarious 36,000 lolololololo. Granted that's with zero down. So I obviously walked away.

A 2013 ford focus st fully loaded after tax is 33,000. Then minus a few thousand for the employee pricing, and they are offering it 0% financing. So I'm having a dealer ship one in for me to test drive. It's main competitor is the mazdaspeed3 but I went and checked them out, also overpriced! 34,000 for the mspd3 and you don't even get leather interior. The nav screen is dinky, the chassis is not nearly as controlled, fuel economy is worse, and lowest financing they can offer is 1.99%

Wish me luck boys. I'm also going to look at some cert pre owned gti's (4 door) and I'd lol to consider the newer sti wagon, but even used they hover too much $$

06-08 bike for $6-8k + a cheap winter beater and your set. No more thinking, now go out and do it.

I'm also looking for a car around the same price range...only thing i can settle on right now is Evo MR, Sti or RDX. Too bad the STI i was looking at got sold shortly after i was ready to pulll the trigger

Have you tried sitting in the back of the Abarth? theres barely any room!

If anyone is looking, it's an amazing deal. Ford employee pricing, 2013 means up to 72mo at 0% finance.

Worked out to be $31,900 for my fully loaded one. The mazdadpeed3 was 34,9000 for a not fully optioned one, at a lowest of 1.99% financing. Plus they don't perform as well or have as nice interior
