This weather makes me really sad.

I got caught in a downpour on my way home last night so I washed and scrubbed the bike and dried it thoroughly before I went to bed... loser I know.

So I've decided not to upgrade to a GSXR 600 next year and stick to my Ninja 300 and make it into the perfect city bike. My question is where can I get the wheels powder coated? Probably go for either white or gold. Thanks!

Are you aware of the costs.

Removal of wheels (pit stands)

Removal of tires from Rims

Removal of axles & bearing

Cleaning of powder coat out of the bearing/axel area

Mounting bearings & axles

Mounting & Balancing of tires

It is not a simple as car rims.

Hmm.. I'm already planning on getting some new tires and plan on taking the wheels off/putting them back on by myself so I'm already expecting to pay for the tires+mounting and balancing. I didn't know about the wheel axles and bearings though so thanks for letting me know! I'll ask some shops for a quote and see where that takes me. If all else fails, I'll just plasti dip them white.

plasti-dip might be the better choice. it's cheaper, can be done quickly, and you can change the colour whenever you want..

fuuuuaark almost got side swiped by a pick up truck this morning, the guy tried to make an abrupt lane change but saw me last second and swung back in. I'm glad he saw me because i had no time to react

You have to keep yourself in a position that allows you the ability to react, don't rely on cagers to see you. Remember, even if it's someone else's fault, your going to pay the ultimate price in an accident. Keep your eyes peeled, ALWAYS, and stay alert, ALWAYS.

Oh ya, and don't cruise in traffic beside a cagers rear passenger door/quarter panel, you'll be asking to get hit when they do a retarded blind lane change.

So I somehow managed to get a screw stuck in my front tire...

I was wondering if just patching it up would be fine or would that be unsafe?

I just changed my tires back in april/may so they're fairly new too.

Any recommendations?
