Anyone here go to langara? I always see this one guy in his leather jacket and helmet. Even during the winter season while it's raining. Never took notice to what bike he rides as I just always see him on campus.

Have any of you caught people sitting on your bike? I walked out of work once, late at night. Walked behind these teenagers, I noticed them slowly walking towards my bike. Then one of the teen says "check me out on this motorcycle", and then starts to get on. For some reason I was puzzled at first, then I quickly said "Get the fuck off”. Then the teen and his friends look behind them and see's me, and just quickly walked off. Thinking about it, just makes me think how disrespectful these people are touching other people's belongings, without permission. Probably a lot more random people have sat on my bike, but do you guys care about strangers sitting on your bike?

I would never allow a stranger to just hop on my bike especially with me not being there, that's pretty much the only reason I got an alarm with proximity sensor. It won't stop bike thieves cause they're gonna steal it if they really want to, alarm or no alarm, but it keeps random idiots from throwing a leg over when i'm not around. People don't hop into convertibles when the tops are down so why would it be okay to hop on a bike? HELLS NO!!!

I would never allow that. One, they can topple your bike over and it's GG for you. Two, they can hurt themselves. But if someone asked, and if I'm there, I might let them.

Anyone have any recommendations on a pair of gloves suitable for riding in somewhat chilly weather? Not in need of something super expensive, just something that will keep my hands warm while riding before the warm weather begins.

get a good pair of summer gloves, and in chilly weather just wear a pair of nitrite gloves under them. Works like a charm for me in - temps

For under $100, I bought the Alpinestar Apex Drystar gloves from Holeshot.
Work great for for anything 10 and below, I went riding when it was -5 (not counting windchill and highway speeds, it was likely much colder) and my hands were nice and toasty.

I bought a pair of oversized shell gloves to wear over my leather gauntlets to block the wind and that helped a lot. Just a little bulky though.

Bikes at home, took her out for a spin but just around my place. I have to adjust the clutch but other then that from my very short ride I can say everything I've read seems to hold true. I can't wait until I really get a chance to try this bike out. There is tons of power right through the range and I wasn't even riding the A mode which has even more power, I've never ridden anything like this before it's awesome.

I've ordered frame sliders, fender eliminator, tank grips and I'm ordering a fly screen this week. I've spent so much money that will probably be it until next off season then I'll probably look at the suspension and flashing the ECU.

Thanks for everyones response, most likely take PRS as I've heard from numerous people on and off of Revscene that its the best 800$ that they have spent.

As for the bike show, im assuming this is one of many bike shows going on throughout the year?

I'll vouch for PRS. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it.
