It's been years since i got my class6 and I still apply what I have learned from the school and I am greatful I attended the classes. Posted via RS Mobile
Fuck man. I can't wait to get a bike... I know I want wheels and coilovers and exhausts and all that for my car, but i know that once i get a bike ill be "over" modding a car. It will become my grocery getter.
I'm loving the classic feels on CL right now.... Spam!
So funny ... all those years I was modding my STIs, JDM Type-Rs, bolting on turbos, r-compound tire, coilovers, etc., I always suspected in the back of my head that if I went with a bike I'd never look back at cars.... andddddddddddddddddddddddd that's exactly what finally happened. lol.

Good thing i figured that out before i voided my new warranty lol.
Talking to the GF. She wants to keep her '87 gsxr-400 for a long time. But also pick up a new gsxr-600. So i figure ill look into getting a nice grey market 400cc bike like the zxr400 or cbr400rr to collector plate along side her bike. That way we can both have our sunny day bikes, and also our 'rip to kamloops' bikes Posted via RS Mobile
I took my bike off the stands and did a few laps in the parking garage tonight... AWWWWWW...... *tears* 3 months down 2 to go! I parked her November 1st... want to bring her out April 1st...

320icar, if you want a project, i'm contemplating selling my '84 GSXR-400 as it's not running at the moment and i need a bike and kind of want to get something newer.

Sucks for everyone, car went cause thought it was enough room, choice was to stop and maybe get t boned, or hit the other two bikers in the other lanes.
Retarded distance judgement from the car in the first place but once he went he only had 2 options.
Wow I haven't been able to enjoy my bike and I'm starting to understand why you guys get twitchy and despise winter. I keep seeing it in my garage.
I got to tinker around with it and changed some parts that the previous owner gave me with the bike. Got rid of the old windscreen (it's on the floor)
Spoiler!
He had some wires as well going from the back to the front for a radar detector. Got a chance to lift the tank and open up the bike and got a feel for it.
I'm shocked the bike didnt try evasive maneuvering. He just went dead on Posted via RS Mobile
Target fixation, plus 2 up. Bad news bears in every situation, luckily he got out of it by the skin of his teeth.

Your instinct is to hit the brakes, when you learn to ride later you will notice the bike straightens itself upright under braking. That's why if you're going wide in a corner the worst thing to do is grab the brakes, it will cause you to go more wide.
But under hard braking, the bike will just want to sit straight up. In order to do an evasive maneuver he would have had to let go of the brakes completely. It would be much difficult to do for the average street rider, especially with a passenger on the back. It just goes against all your instincts to let go of the brakes in that situation.
