Raid3n 03-08-2014 09:37 PM

I've been insured since January the amount of riding I've gotten in the last two months is negligible the guys without insurance are the smart ones. Saying all that this week looks prime I know how I'm getting to work.

it really depends on the rider.
I, for example, would be riding rain or shine because the bike is cheaper than WCE tickets haha. only thing that would stop me would be snow/ice.

Gh0stRider 03-09-2014 10:09 AM

been caught in downpours before and i wish i had proper rain gear. perforated boots did not work lol

I'm a wuss, I don't ride in the rain but I will ride if it's cold and dry. My problem is in the mornings I have to drop my son off at daycare so I have to drop him off with the truck then go back home, get my bike and go to work. The weather has to be half decent in order for me to go through the trouble but during the summer I do it almost everyday.

I'm always insured all year round for days when it's dry out, I don't really care about the temperature that much.

Jas29 03-09-2014 11:21 AM

anyone know how moderns warranty/exchange works. The helmet I bought is damaged

z3german 03-09-2014 12:29 PM

Some days I WANT to ride in the rain

Call it crazy, but sometimes I feel like a kid out in the waterpark just having a blast.

I will not ride in snow/ice though, that shit is fucked.

Hey guys, im looking to purchase a new jacket for this year, probably a textile.

You guys have any favorites, opinions, and sizing suggestions?

I'm 5'9, 165, athletic build.

racerman88 03-09-2014 04:58 PM

you have to try them on. It's about personal preference for fit.

Jonydakiller 03-09-2014 06:22 PM

I usually keep a light textile jacket on the side for a hot summer day since leather doesn't breath that well.
I do have a brand new one size M from SHIFT that i don't need, let me know if you are interested, color is blue/black

I wear a Dainese Shotgun for those hot days where leather is just too much. We're about the same measurements and I wear a 40 and it fits very nicely.
