Pretty uncomfortable I would say. Why not bring a pair of shoes to change into?

^

i wear my sidi vertigos all day during the summer and its not bad at all, and they're quite comparable to the smx6

edit: my leg got crushed between a car and my bike and the only reason i ended up with heavy bruising instead of broken bones was because i was wearing my boots

Thanks, I forgot about Stormtech.

I went by there yesterday and picked up a waterproof/breathable wind shirt.

I thought long and hard about what to wear for street riding. Ended up getting A* SMX5 boots.

I read countless crash stories on 600rr.net, so many guys said the boots saved their ankles/feet/shin.

Ask yourself would you ride with a hat on instead of a helmet, because shoes on your feet are the equivalent to a hat on your head.

i wear my smx-5 all day at work, they're a little bit stiff, but not too bad if you're sitting for most of the day.

I've got Gaerne GRS. Don't think I'd wear them all day. They are pretty comfy on my soles though.

I don't mind wearing my SMX5 all day long if I'll be sitting down most of the time. Walking around in them is another story though

I have the RS Taichi soft knee guards. Comfortable enough to wear all day long.

Got mine from Gabe at Red Line Gear.

I wear those when I need to but most of my riding jeans have built in armour.
