My bike started leaking coolant with 1,300kms on the odo. It's under warranty but losing the bike during the nice weather sucks, earliest I can get it in is 2 weeks (made appointment last week). I stopped by there yesterday so they could take a quick look, the waterpump seal is fucked, at least they were able to order the parts now so when I get it in next week they can fix it and not diagnose and wait for parts.

Anybody here have experience with the Suzuki DRZ400? I'm looking at potentially trading my RX7 + cash for it but I'm worried about weight (319lbs wet) and seat height (36.8in) since I'm a novice and short (5'10", 32" inseam, 170lbs). Every opinion I've found so far has told me it'll either be great, or hell. FWIW I plan on using it mostly for dirt with some street riding mixed in (probably 80/20?)

I always thought motorcycles could park at the ends of metered streets, but I got a ticket the other day. What are the rules for this?

you should be ok, but you can always head to a bike shop and sit on a dual purpose and see how u feel on it

also, look in the states for that bike, i had a guy come by work and he bought a drz400 for $600 and fairly low mileage also

Motorcycle and scooter parking | City of Vancouver
Motorcycle and scooter parking signage | City of Vancouver

Seems like a win some lose some type of situation, never gotten ticketed yet knock on wood

Stopping too close to a corner is illegal under sections 17.5 (b) and 17.5 (c) of the bylaw

Might be relevant. Just gotta be more ninja with your bike parking skills

Don't worry, you'll be fine. I'm 5'7 and weigh 135lbs and I rode my friends drz400. It could seem tall in the beginning but you get used to it.
