MotoGP/WSBK/BSB/AMA Thread

Not sure how many of us here follow professional racing but I thought I'd start a thread for those of us who want to discuss it.

Czech GP is live right now and it was pissing rain all morning. I'm hoping the rain gets worse so that Rossi can fight his way to the front. Perhaps a 2nd podium of the year?

Also looking forward to Macquez/Redding/Espargaro in Moto2. It's awesome seeing Redding near the top since he's a good 30 pounds heavier and half a foot taller than most of the other riders. Huge disadvantage considering everyone uses the same homologated Honda motor.

And the Moscow WSBK race tomorrow, Checa finally on pole for the first time this year:

Lorenzo in pole position:

Marc Marquez is one of my fav in Moto 2 also Espargaro - Hopefully MotoGP in a few hours will be a interesting battle.. So far I heard Ben Spies is ripping it up

yay...fianlly some ppl on RS that watch all of them lol....

Really sad Spies is leaving yamaha GP, stoked Rossi is coming back though...hoping zook will come back next year with Swantz running the team and spies and hopper!

i root for redding cuz i think he's an underdog (brit and normal sized lol) i love his riding style.

I hope Sykes can notch a win in the dry.

apparently there are talks of spies signing on with san carlo gresini. i think in the end he just had too much pressure to keep up with the factory hondas and lorenzo. even the satellite yamahas were getting ahead of him and he just buckled under the pressure. not to mention a huge string of bad luck this year at laguna and indy... really don't wanna see elbows leave the GP though.

watching hopper and tommy hill battling it out last year was freakin insane too. can't believe how close that championship was. and apparently johnny rea might be filling in for stoner at misano and aragon - maybe he'll dive down the inside and knock lorenzo into spies or something LOL

Spoiler!

yes...SBK race 1 was awesome...i was so nervous for the last few laps...race 2 was even better, but i was hoping for the double...to bad hoppers not having a good year...
and...even though the GP race was down to the wire...i
do not cheer for the repsols what-so-ever!
If spies goes to gresini i'll be bummed! i think he should go back to SBK where the series is way better! carmelo is killing GP... everytime i watch GP i fall asleep where was SBK im on the edge of my seat.

my love for honda is solely fueled by my hate for lorenzo. i've had a target painted on him ever since he got all cocky when he was teammates with rossi. tbh i think dorna completely fucked the pooch by introducing CRTs. the grid is even more uneven than before. they were talking about using a homologated ecu and 15000rpm redline to even up the playing field but honda threatened to withdraw if it's done before 2015 or something like that. this is why rossi moving back to yamaha is also such a big move for the sport. at least he'll be able to entertain the crowds until they finally implement the new changes in the future lol.
