Out of curiouslty, were you in the car at the time this happened?

I thought the dashcam only records when the ignition is on? If not, would it not drain your battery recording all that time?

Kev

probably has the powermagic pro installed. It has 4 different voltage settings.. so if it falls below it will cut off power

vafanculo 08-29-2012 08:35 AM

That sucks balls. I thought it coulda been coffee, but for some reason when it hits the car it makes a heavier splash than I'd expect from liquid.

Bahhbeehhaaaa 08-29-2012 08:39 AM

OP i think your exhaust woke him up? :ahwow:

MrGoodbar 08-29-2012 08:46 AM

Give him an enema with the same shit he threw on your car once you determine what it is. I thought Kits was for responsible citizens of BC, not disrespectful trailer park rednecks...

spyker 08-29-2012 09:01 AM

OP report this shit to ICBC today, don't waste another second.Take pictures of it and if you can, take samples of the material too.

Once ICBC finds him at fault, this fat disrespectful fuck will have two options,he can either pay for the repairs/damages out of his own pocket or his rates will go up.He will also be on record for being a vandal on ICBC's list,he might also be charged for vandalism too.

Hondaracer 08-29-2012 09:14 AM

Lol wtf

sonick 08-29-2012 09:22 AM

No matter where you go nowadays there will be trash somewhere, cannot be avoided.

Two years ago I was at Spanish banks for a few hours, when I got back to my car,I saw two idiots leaning up against my brand new car and drinking. One of the idiots thought he was going to be a fucktard and decides to flip me the finger and also dropped the empty bottle of beer on the hood of my car after he chugged it down......I fucking lost it right then.Rest assured,he will never be disrespectful to anyones property again.

Phil@rise 08-29-2012 09:49 AM

What a dick have you been back and have you seen his RV there since?

Sorry for the late update guys, busy at work.

As promised, here's the pics of the damage done.

To answer a few questions:

1. I don't suspect asr for this. :ilied:

2. I did not park illegally, it's just no parking from 12am - 6am there.

3. I did not see the guy at all, and have videos from when I arrived til when he left. He actually GTFO'd when he saw me walking back to the car.

4. Unfortunately (fortunately?), I washed my car this morning and removed all trace. Was too tired last night and fell asleep before washing it. Woke up at 5:15am to wash the car before work. :okay:

5. A police report and ICBC report will be filed after I get home from work today.

6. Shameless plug for asr: Get your dashcam today! Don't delay!

Will keep you updated on the police and ICBC report

wow, that's some impressive coverage..

asr 08-29-2012 12:09 PM

wholly shut, what is the brown stuff on the hood?
KO7 Thanks confirmation that ASR didn't do that. lol
Even though you clean your vehicle, you don't know what kind of liquid is that. It might have potential risk to destroy your paint.

ToneCapone 08-29-2012 12:13 PM

purdy sure its grease from the kitchen..... sorry :(

GLOW 08-29-2012 12:18 PM

i'm picturing someone on here with PS skills to meme a pic with scumbag hat on that guy

Just discovered it now and need to clean it off, and I've gotta wake up at 6am for work tomorrow FUUUUUUUU.

Pictures of the damage to come.

The damage occurs if there's a paint chip that's through the e-coat. Coffee is corrosive and will attack metal.
It seems that is coffee on your paint.Just need confirm from you.

Googled. I hope that helpful.
100% sure coffee is acidic.

You should wash it off as soon as possible because it will dry to a sticky mess that will be a pain to get off, but it probably won't harm the paint. I would guess it will, however, eat through any wax and you should therefore re-wax the area.

Let's see Icbc will give you a free detailing and wax sealant or not.
