The estimator has approved the claim, as he agreed that there's clearcoat damage on the hood. I will be getting my hood repainted!
Now that ICBC has agreed that there was damage done, hopefully the police can charge GFAinRV for the crime. I have emailed the two constables assigned to my case and given them an update on the claim and CC'd my adjuster in the email.
Only when and if he's charged for the crime will I be compensated for my $300 deductible. Will keep you guys updated as always, regarding being compensated.
Adjuster asked where I got the dashcam and AGAIN I provided asr's info. I should start demanding a cut of the profits...

Congratulations. I really hope the cops go after the guy, but they probably view it as not worth their time. That would be disappointing, as you can clearly see his plate number in the video......
If they do update you, let us know. It would be nice to know the guy was held accountable.
