Welcome back to Seattle Wilson !!

Boy, last drive of the game - 4th and 5 and Denver coach opts for like a 61 yd field goal instead of letting Wilson try to get a first down and closer for the FG ... with plenty of time on the clock? Denver coach is pretty inept.

SkinnyPupp 09-12-2022 07:24 PM

Great game for the most part! Entertaining at least! Once again a ton of sloppy play, but that made it fun. Geno was a COMPLETELY different QB for the first half. Like Denver's D wasn't great, but Geno was playing nothing like he ever has in the NFL. He reverted back to that in the 4th though. Very safe, short throws, sometimes held on too long. That's the Geno everyone expected. I hope we get more of the new Geno though.

Unbelievable coach decision going for a 64? yard FG instead of trusting RUSSELL WILSON to gain 5 yards. Just. Wow.

Yeah, the Broncos coach is an idiot. Wilson has 32 career winning TD drives in fourth quarter and overtime.

He would rather trust his kicker to make a 65 yard field goal? Hahahha.

Seahawks defence played so well. The twelfth man Seahawks fans were loud as usual at home.

Coach Carroll made a questionable challenge on that Broncos first down. -losing a timeout from losing the challenge could have cost Seattle near the end of the game.

Broncos also did everything they could to lose this game. Penalties. Two fumbles in the one yard line.

"Let Russ Cook"

whitev70r 09-13-2022 06:06 AM

Reason why Russell left Seattle was because he thought Carroll was under utilizing him and that they didn't trust him with his arm ... :okay:

quasi 09-13-2022 06:40 AM

Terrible coaching decision, you live or die by Wilson you just paid him all that money put the fucking ball in his hand and at least win or lose you can sleep at night.

Instead when they miss the playoffs by 1 game they'll be talking about this one.

68style 09-13-2022 02:52 PM

Tough to watch as a Broncos fan, credit where credit is due for Smith having a solid game... but Denver did everything possible to lose this game and still barely lost it.

Between the penalties and <5 yard line fumbles / goal line fails... awful.

whitev70r 09-13-2022 03:51 PM

I was shocked how bad Denver was ...

SkinnyPupp 09-15-2022 08:43 PM

I feel bad for Herbert and the Chargers. Mahomes throws 4 picks, all of which get canceled for various reasons or barely dropped, including calling a pass interference penalty on the wrong team.

Good game though, tough drive at the end.

whitev70r 09-16-2022 06:31 AM

Chargers are a growing team and were quite impressive even in the loss. Mahome just being Mahome ... somewhere in the 3rd quarter, he must have just decided, 'K, we are not losing tonight!'

pastarocket 09-16-2022 08:13 AM

The Chiefs defence came up big with Jalen Watson getting the pick 6.

The draft pick from the seventh round playing well for the Chiefs.

Derwin did his best WWE impression on Kelce.

That body slam from Derwin on Kelce was epic hahha. Beast mode strength from Derwin James on Kelce hahaha.

Textbook tackle from Derwin. Kelce got laid out!

Ravens Good news: Dobbins should be back vs the Dolphins. Maybe Travis Jones

Bad news: They may be without CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4

Against Hill and Waddle :heckno:

Praying to the Football Gods that Humphrey and Peters are good to go

SkinnyPupp 09-18-2022 12:28 PM

Sometimes I hate being right all the time WutFace

Offense looked like 2019 at times though. Some awful play calls. Defense was garbage, as expected

The Dolphins got a hold of that machine from the matrix, tossed Tua in it at halftime and all the sudden he could play Quarterback. I was really surprised to see that big of a lead get overcome, especially how the Dolphins played in the first half.

Trey Lance probably done for the season, Lamar is one of those hits away from losing a lot of that guaranteed money. I get the putting your trust in yourself but the style of game he plays, he's taking a stupid amount of risk to play without a guaranteed contract for next year and beyond.

Welp, good thing they kept Garroppolo ... and now, there won't be this constant how long of a leash does Lance Trey get for the rest of the season. SF management win win.

Yup. Trey Lance is definitely out for the season.

He needs ankle surgery:

Probably the best game of his career. His accuracy was really impressive. Arm strength not so much, but Hunt burned people so bad that he had time to go back for underthrown bombs. But some of Tua's credit has to go to some all time bad secondary play, and inability to get any pressure without blitzing (a familiar problem that only went away for one game vs the Jets).

Some good news from today though, with Joe Flacco scoring 2 TDs in the last 2 minutes to beat the Browns, Steelers losing to the Patriots, and I haven't seen it but I got spoiled that the Bengals lost to the damn Cowboys lol. Superbowl hangover? Burrow was awful last week vs the Steelers, was he bad in this game? Will check it out after watching an unspoiled 4pm game and SNF later.

Brady was out of his mind that game.. I mean he is always yapping at the refs and his teammates, but it seemed worse than ever in this game. He was out of his mind at times, and looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. He started that fight by arguing with Latimore, but Fornette stood up for him and got punched for it, and then Evans came in hot lol

If he continues to play like that, I don't know if he'll even play out the season.

A lot of it has to do with the O-line. They went out and upgraded it but that hasn't panned out. I was speaking to my brother in law about it, not sure it's so much a skill thing but more a chemistry/trust/timing issue that has to be worked out with all the new pieces on the line.

It's tough to let a play develop when you're running for your life constantly, we thought it was bad last year and it got worse not better.

mikemhg 09-19-2022 11:45 AM

Man how can you not cheer for Baltimore, they're so fun to watch.

Pay that man already.

The Bills are also fun to watch too.

They crushed the Titans night.

Allen threw to his favourite WR Diggs.

Stephen Diggs torches Tennessee with 3 TDs.
20 receptions for him so far this season. Second in the league.

Impressive win.

The most impressive thing about the Bills is that they are in peak form already. They already were last week. Other good teams are dealing with various issues, including injuries. Even Mahomes had 4 picks last Thursday but just got lucky breaks on them.

Titans are a bad team though, I think they have to blow it up and start again without Vrabel.

I wonder if the AFC South winner will have like 8 wins tops.. Would be wild if it ended up being the Jags... I don't see how the Colts or Texans should be favoured at this point. But it's early

I don't know if I posted here, but I called the Eagles as having a huge season this year. Hurts was lowkey one of the top QBs in the league by the end of last year, and he's clearly in the top 5 now. Trolls and idiots will say he will get injured as a dual threat QB, but he plays a smart run game similar to Lamar, rather than a power run game like Cam Newton did, or what Trey Lance attempted to do yesterday. Along with a great O line, great defense, they're going to catch a lot of people off guard.

Bills vs Dolphins next week!

quasi 09-20-2022 06:16 AM

Vikings played so damm bad, Cousins made so many terrible decisions. Also credit where it's due, Eagles Defense played great as did Hurts.
