AFC pro bowl quarterback.. Burrow won't likely play. Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Next up are Tua, Herbert, and Lamar Jackson, all injured. Next one up after him is Tyler Huntley :awwyeah:

whitev70r 01-29-2023 06:45 PM

Yah, good exciting finish in the Cincy vs. KC game. Burrows had his chance for a last game winning drive but couldn't pull it off. That penalty on the last play was the 15 yds that secured the field goal but hard for that Cincy defense guy to pull back on not touching Mahome when he went out of bounds. In the end, pretty even game but give Mahome the tip of the hat for playing on one ankle and with a lot of heart.

Agree, the reffing was pretty shoddy ... especially that redo for a KC 3rd down ... 'clock error' ??!!

So one of the Kelce brothers will be disappointed at the SB! I'm going to say Travis is the disappointed brother and Jason hoist the Lombardi for the 1st time.

Bender Unit 01-29-2023 09:26 PM

Jason Kelce won Super Bowl LII in 2017 -18 (typo)

Remember this ?

whitev70r 01-29-2023 09:42 PM

I stand corrected ... Jason's won a SB already.

Surprised Skinny isn't talking about Travis Kelce shouting out Rock quotes in the post-game celebrations over Cincy hahaha... his 2 favourite sports worlds crossing over each other!

I loved it! And I loved the entire Chiefs reaction at all the Bengals trash talk and their reaction to "Burrowhead Stadium". Bengals have quickly turned themselves heel with all that talk, and not being able to back it up. One of them even said that himself after the loss.

I hope we see a more humble Burrow next year, without the phony outfits and trash talk. I love cocky athletes in wrestling and all sports, but you have to back it up or you're just a dipshit. Brady and Rodgers etc can get away with it because they have won it all. Burrow should sit down until he does. Learn from humble future superstar Jalen Hurts who hasn't said a thing other than how hard he works, and I bet he'll be on fire if he does get that ring, and I'll be here for it.

Of course if that's who you are, that's great too. Cam is perfect for that. But with Burrow I really don't think it's who he is. His dad says he's a joggers and baseball cap kind of guy, so that just makes it extra phony.

68style 01-31-2023 03:05 PM

When Burrows greeted Mahomes at centre field he was very sportsmanlike... he congratulated him and said "Go win it"

I am 100% sure he's a great guy and a great teammate. But the persona just comes across as phony, and worse yet, the media buys it and promotes it like crazy, making it even more obnoxious. So it's not entirely his fault, but he eggs it on. If it gains him fans and money, good for him. But, ugh

SkinnyPupp 01-31-2023 03:14 PM

Broncos and Texans went after DeMeco Ryans, Texans got him so Broncos sent the Saints their next #1 pick and 2024 #2 pick for Sean Payton

Crazy!

Broncos tried real hard to get Jim too, all the way out through last weekend apparently

I bet Peyton thought the market would be much bigger than the Texans and Broncos. I actually want to give credit to the Chargers for sticking with Staley, but god he better get his shit figured out

whitev70r 02-01-2023 06:20 AM

do u believe him?

Absolutely. TB12 is retired. He is done. Even the GOAT would look silly coming out of retirement twice haha.

Tom will join Fox Sports as an Analyst for reportedly 10 years at 375 million.

Not that Brady really needs the money. Maybe he does after losing millons from bankrupt FTX hahahah. -over 40 million US from FTX based on what I hear from news reports.

As a 20+ years Broncos fan I'm flabbergasted...

I was laughing at the Rams hiring the Jets OC last week, but now who's laughing lol... first overall pick for the rights to a fuckin coach! What a world.

SkinnyPupp 02-01-2023 01:46 PM

He probably played an extra season out of spite because his retirement was leaked LUL

SkinnyPupp 02-01-2023 03:37 PM

Oh shit does this mean he's going to replace Greg Olsen, who has been fantastic in the role? FeelsBadMan

SkinnyPupp 02-02-2023 01:58 PM

New favourite non-Raven (really liked him already actually)

pastarocket 02-12-2023 03:42 PM

Fumble recovery for a TD! Chiefs tie the game.

Hurts hurts the Eagles haha.

This could be the game changing play of the Super Bowl.

^ nope ... not game changing play. Hurts made up for it. 2 rushing TDs, 1 passing TD so far and it's only first half. Except for that fumble, he's playing pretty lights out ... MVP level QB in a SB ... and he still might be MVP.

whitev70r 02-12-2023 04:04 PM

uh oh ... Mahomes got sacked, tackled by the legs, got up limping !!! Now this might be the game-changing play.

whitev70r 02-12-2023 04:46 PM

Halftime show lacking a bit of energy ... Rihanna had her marshmellow groupie dancers doing the dancing while she just did the Dua Lipa leg move. What's with the parkas ??!!
Good classic tunes but nothing you can't get from a Spotify playlist. 5/10.

pastarocket 02-12-2023 04:49 PM

Something has to give in this Super Bowl.

Chiefs are 14-10 when trailing in a game.

Eagles are 19-1 when leading in a game.

It will take smart halftime adjustments for
coach Andy Reid and an MVP like effort from Mahomey for a comeback win.

Chiefs get the ball to start the second half.

RiRi lacked energy for parts of her half time show for sure. Post pregnancy impact on Rihanna?
