What a punt return for the Chiefs!

KC ...very impressive 2nd half. Very efficient! Scoring quickly.

SkinnyPupp 02-12-2023 05:45 PM

Eagles D looks lost at times.. totally outcoached by Reed in the 2nd. That same fake motion play worked twice in a row LUL

I didn't buy that Mahomes was actually hurt, I thought he was putting on a show. Looks like that may have been the case

But Chiefs are only up by 8.. I wonder if it would have been better to go for 2?

Looks like it's confirmed she's pregnant again:

Rihanna is pregnant with her second baby, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The 34-year-old 2023 Super Bowl Halftime performer took the stage in Phoenix Sunday dressed head-to-toe in bright red, revealing a baby bump, and becoming the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.

Rihanna played up the big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.

A rep for Rihanna confirmed the news to PEOPLE Sunday night.

The Grammy winner and her beau, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child in May 2022.

The Official *NFL* thread

What a game! It is a shame that the refs call of a holding penalty on the Eagles decided the outcome of the Super Bowl.

Chiefs win!

Huge props to Mahomes for a gutsy effort.
Running hard for first downs despite a high ankle sprain and getting hurt after a tackle during the game.

Mad respect for Mahomey!

He is definitely a Super Bowl MVP again.

Travis Kelce had a huge game. He backed up
his trash talk with his game haha.

The Chiefs’ offensive line and adjustments for the second half of the game were the difference in the Super Bowl.

Pacheco ran the ball well too.

Great all around game. Yah, what was that holding penalty on #24 Philly ??!!

Hats off to Mahomes ... didn't have a stake in either team so was leaning more towards Philly cuz many of the players on this Philly team hasn't won a SB yet.

@pastarocket ... as it turns out, you were right, that one turnover by Philly might have made the difference in the final score

(what noobs are talking NFL in the other thread ??!! :lol)

SkinnyPupp 02-12-2023 06:26 PM

Great game, sucks to have the refs put an end to any possibility of an epic finish.

I was cheering for Philly because they've always been my #3 team and I love Hurts, so it kind of sucks but oh well. Chiefs are the new Patriots, it's just something fans of other teams have to accept LUL

whitev70r 02-12-2023 06:27 PM

Why the hell would they let Terry Bradshaw in there for the presentation ceremony? Didn't they learn from 2 weeks ago ?!!

SkinnyPupp 02-12-2023 06:28 PM

Interviewing the owner first and then the coach is such a buzz kill. Give the damn trophy to the players and let Kelce cut a promo

Chiefs get the ball to start the second half.

KC completely nailed it

A star is born ! Should have shown this on split screen!

SkinnyPupp 02-13-2023 06:46 PM

1000X more effort and entertainment than Rihana put forward herself

whitev70r 02-13-2023 06:56 PM

Yah, that was my initial critique but then I found out that she was preggo ... OK, I guess that's an acceptable reason.

The other thing was that she was suspended really high on these small platform (and a few of her dancers), with some very thin looking wires. And in some clips, that platform was really jiggly and moving ... I mean it looked good but man ... that seemed unnecessarily risky with no safety harness!

SkinnyPupp 02-13-2023 07:10 PM

Yeah first thing I thought was she was being very "economical" with her effort. But it makes sense. Obviously pregnant but of course nobody wants to be the one to openly ask that so it's good that they put it out right away LUL

All of the white coats were airbags. They knew what they were signing up for.

Philadelphia Eagles just lost both their Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator...

so the SB Losers White Coaches got Head Coaching jobs
while 2 times SB Winner Eric Bieniemy not even get a chance.

whitev70r 02-14-2023 11:27 AM

yah, that's a trend, poaching OC's and DC's to be head coaches. Some turn out well and some don't. Not all good OC's and DC's are good HC's.

Case in point - Nathaniel Hackett

Bender Unit 02-14-2023 01:09 PM

& Josh McDaniels

Most teams won't touch EB because of his history.... Has to be a team like the Chiefs or Browns who don't care about having people with... history... on their team.

He might have a future in broadcasting - he's a great talker - but the networks might not want him either.

I was hoping the Ravens could pick up Steichen, but obviously he's going to take a head coach position instead. Instead they got Todd Monken who will be on his 3rd NFL stint. I'll have to look him up but fans are pretty happy about it.

SkinnyPupp 02-14-2023 01:48 PM

Someone on reddit made this coaching tree

https://i.redd.it/wkll48g4d6ia1.png

SkinnyPupp 02-17-2023 09:26 PM

EB got a job! Still an OC though. He should be calling plays now at least, so will be able to show his talent more, instead of everyone just assuming "it's just Mahomes and Reed"

If the team starts tanking, I can see Rivera having a short leash, and Bieniemy getting a promotion to head coach

NFLPA Player Team Report Cards are out. Teams are rated by the players in terms of the facilities and services for the players. You can look up your team to see how they rate.

The one that stands out for Ravens fans is strength and conditioning coach. Ravens gave their guy Steve Saunders an F-. The second lowest grade any team gave was a C. He got fired a few weeks ago, but there have been rumors about him for a couple seasons now. People blamed him for the rash of ACL injuries their players had, but I don't see how that could be the trainer's fault.

Non fans may not recall that he was a vehement anti-masker, and was the one that was blamed for the covid outbreak the team had that had them playing on a Tuesday, and cost the team $250K in fines (and almost lost a draft pick).

Edit: Lots of former players speaking out and retweeting, some claiming their careers were ruined by this guy.

Interesting

Lamar is done with Baltimore

Baltimore is waiting teams to offer their First Round Picks to them

Will he be much better than Dalton? Maybe a bit, Dalton had a good year.
