Impressed with the Lions' fight !!! I know that the Chiefs need like 20 secs for last possession walk off TD or whatever but still ... weren't these the Lions that couldn't win a game last season if their life depended on it? Or was that 2 yrs ago?

there you go skinny ... so that you're not just talking to yourself ... ha

I know everyone is reading it usually people post after the game, it's all good

Last year was Lions turnaround year - they started as bad as usual but finished the season 8-2 in their last 10 games including sending Aaron Rodgers from GB with a rare loss at home.

Expectations are higher this year and if their D can hold up they will at least be fun to watch. They could pull this off, and would be winning by a lot more if the Chiefs would get called for all their penalties.

BTW Bengals signed Burrow right before the game

Impressive win for the Lions ... the Chiefs looked like bumbling rookies, like it was preseason with so many receivers dropping balls that were in their hands.

Good ... no way that Lamar Jackson, who hasn't done anything really, should be paid more than guys like Burrows or Allen.

Their receivers are not good, you can have the best QB in the league which they do but even he can only do so much. Kadarius Toney is a kickoff returner at best on most teams but here he is WR1/WR2 on the Chiefs.

I'm wondering how the seasons going to go if they rush Kelce back and he's playing injured all season long?

Glad I did not start Toney. On the other hand my opponent is probably not paying attention and started Kelce

Watching the Chiefs yesterday reminded me of watching Ravens games over the past few years

I wonder if they'll sign Deshaun Jackson

(actually he was great in a few games)

I knew I wasn't imagining it.. Chiefs RT was like 1 foot back from where he was legally supposed to be on most snaps

Can't blame him if he's not going to get called for it, but what absolute garbage officiating. So glad they lost despite this cheating.

After the opening game, the Ravens are down CB1, FS1, LT, C, RB1 and possibly still TE1. RB1 is done for the season and I think his contract is up after that.

Had to add a separate entry for tweets coming from the x.com domain, since they didn't set it up properly for forwarding. It looks like it was a last minute rash decision, not done properly. Something a clown would do perhaps. It should work now:

Jets squeak out a win due to Allen's sloppy play, but it was a miracle win, don't think they will do very well with Zach Wilson in at QB.

Also their O line was very sloppy, as were most O lines this weekend. Rodgers would have gotten cooked anyway.

Sloppy offensive play all around the league, as is often the case on opening week with teams not playing starters in pre-season. Defenses feasted. Should get better for almost everyone starting next week.

Looks like refusing to get vaccinated didn't do anything to help Aaron Rodgers' achilles

Wow ... what drama for the game. You'd think it would be a cake walk for Buffalo after Rodgers went down. But no, Allen throws 3 INT ... NY leads by 3, Buffalo ties it with a FG that richochet off the bar, then a walk off punt return.

Yah, Allen lost that one for Buffalo ... easy low hanging fruit but Allen looked like a rookie out there.

What a story if Rodgers does have serious ankle archilles injury though !!! Let's see what the tests show tomorrow.
