He just needs a nice massage? |
I'm no fan of Watson, but if he fleeces the Browns for a quarter billion dollars and costs them all that draft capital, he's instantly my all time favourite Brown. |
It's happening! They signed him to a 3 year deal (They've been using him as a WR in practice so far though) |
How the mighty have fallen in week 6 and the L's came from teams whom you wouldn't expect to pull it off. Cle 19 - SF 17 (without Deshaun Jackson) NYJ 20 - Phi 14 No other surprises or worthy notes this week. |
I just finished the 1pm games and I just want to say that the officiating has made NFL hard to enjoy sometimes |
A lot of newer fans are learning that insanely OP teams are a very rare occurrence, and just about any team can beat any other on any day. Especially with officiating the way it is (although they are usually in favor of the most popular franchises). The Brady days are over, and even Mahomes, Allen, Tua, whoever are vulnerable at times. The great teams can fight through adversity, and win in various ways - through defense, offense, special teams, etc. Sometimes through luck. Sometimes through bad refereeing. But a lot of teams are 'great' and it's almost impossible to pick who will win with certainty - favorites can help predict, but it doesn't mean anything until the game is played. That's what makes sports so incredible. NY Giants came within inches, but lost the game due to a missed call (what else?). DBs know that the refs are almost never going to call DPI twice in a situation like that (the Legion of Boom method of defense), so he could just hold onto Waller as much as he wanted. Also a flag is very little penalty anyway in that situation. That being said, Giants wasted the end of the half, or they might have even won without needing that last drive. |
Ravens vs Lions this Sunday! #1 QB graded by PFF vs #2 QB. #2 and #3 defenses on DVOA. This should be one of the biggest games of the season! I, for one, am hyped af. But also a bit scared. Goff is killing it and their run D is scary and will affect the rest of the offense. |
I love seeing the Lions do well nowadays, the Detroit fans deserve it after all these years of garbage. |

It's just too bad they let Jamaal Williams go. That dude was the PERFECT Lion. |
Why did they let him go anyways? Didn't he just pass Barry Sander's TD record with the Lions last year? Weird move. |
Great! Your patience has paid off. The NFL team announced Wednesday it had signed the Victoria native from the practice squad to the active roster. The move comes after starter Trevor Lawrence suffered a left knee injury in the club's 37-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. |

If so, it doesn't seem like much |
Mecole got some money and KC almost get it back for Free. Now just need to sign Frank Clark for minimum $$ :lol https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...an-back-chiefs |
It's crazy how good the Browns' defense is.. If they put it together on offense they're scary |
Patriots cooking the Bills! LFG! |
Patriots do it! Got to love divisional games! Hope that means we get some more action in this thread! Ravens had a decent game too |
Any interesting notes this week ... let's see: 1. Kinda surprised that GB is that bad ... and Denver gets an ugly W #2. Thought Jordon Love was ready? 2. Buffalo Bills ... most inconsistent team. 3. Got to tip your hat to Baltimore, handled the Lions (an up and coming young 5-1 team) convincingly. Made a statement. 4. Cleveland over Colts ... exciting 4th quarter. Browns found a way to win, team is coming around 2nd string QB PJ Walker. Steelers finding a way to win as well. AFC North is surprisingly competitive. |
How about Chicago winning with an undrafted D2 quarterback? I know it's the Raiders, but still cool to see Browns winning based on bullshit calls was highway robbery. Like I said last week, it's hard to enjoy the game at times. Thankfully I don't invest in it emotionally too much. I think it would be INSANE to bet money on games when refereeing is this bad. Mac Jones, we know he can play, so that stretch of REALLY bad games were shocking to see. But the Bills are kind of in la-la-land, with their only plays being "Send it to Diggs for a miracle catch" or "Allen does some insane backyard football play". Otherwise they get burned. Giants last week (but stole the win due to awful officiating at the end), Patriots this week! Ravens made a statement win, something Harbaugh said they'd do at halftime instead of letting up, which has burned them many times over the past 3 years. We've seen them play just as good in the first 1/2 or 3/4 of games, but until today they just did bonehead plays to give the game away. This time they gave up a fumble late in the half when they were up 28-0. Maybe 2 weeks ago, the Lions score on that fumble, and then score again after the half to make it 28-14 with all the momentum. Not this time though, thank god. They didn't get the ball on offense until like 30 minutes in real time after that, but then got right back to it. Lions aren't a mirage, they are good. Mostly play bad teams, so will have an incredible record this season. Fans might be nervous that the only good teams they played (Chiefs, Seahawks, Ravens) were 2 losses and kind of a fluky win. Goff still gets flustered when under pressure, especially if he's not sure if it's coming. Ravens record IS a mirage, and aside from DUMB mistakes in 2 games, they should be undefeated still. Normally it wouldn't matter, but somehow the fucking Steelers are winning, and the Browns are stealing games. Bengals had one good game, and then went back to sucking against Seattle but still won somehow. Broken division. Seahawks are a sloppy team, but keep winning somehow. Extremely boring team to watch. Dolphins finally play another good team, and the Eagles figured that if you keep 2 safeties back and send a linebacker into the one read Tua makes, they can do a decent job of keeping Hill contained. He still breaks out for amazing plays, but still, 10 points on offense. Dolphins will be interesting to watch as they have to play games against teams other than the likes of the Giants and Panthers. |
How about our boy Deshaun Watson going 1/5 for 5 yards, throws 2 picks, gets checked for a concussion, is cleared, but does not go back into the game. And then they win anyway LUL |
As it stands now, or about the halfway mark through the season, here are my picks for Conference finals: AFC - Baltimore vs. KC NFC - San Fran vs. Philly |
Good win for the Pats! Mac with the winning TD drive to beat the Bills! Bills Mafia fans can take a break from jumping on tables after that loss haha. Belichick with his 300th win as a coach. A new contract for Coach Belichick too. 18 million US per year. C’mon Bill, smile a bit more during the post game interview after the big win against the Bills and a new contract haha. Imagine playing for Belichick, every single thing you do it's like you're the younger son and you're never as good as your older bro Tom. |
