Niners are pissed about the poor quality of their practice field in Vegas. Rigged! The league prefers that the Chiefs win another Superbowl? KC gets to practice at the indoor field at Allegiant Stadium. Chiefs get to practice at the Raiders facility. Meanwhile, the Niners need to practice outside. -recent rainy weather in Vegas. LUL https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ld-sources-say Field conditions for the San Francisco 49ers' practice facility at UNLV have been met with widespread disapproval from various members of their organization, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The NFL put in a sod field on top of field turf and started laying it just last week when the NFL ordinarily requires Super Bowl practice fields to meet certain standards in December, sources told Schefter. The NFL hardness score for fields averages 78, with no field being less than 70. The 49ers field is considered in the 50s, sources told Schefter. The practice field at UNLV is too soft with the recently installed sod on top of field turf. https://nypost.com/2024/02/05/sports...ractice-field/ |

LAMAR 2X MVP POGGERS https://i.imgur.com/2KSD7dy.png Not unanimous this time, as one person voted for Josh Allen (?) Joe Flacco comeback player of the year! POGGERS https://i.imgur.com/lJT80dr.png Not all good news, as Zay Flowers has allegations against him.. We'll see where that goes, Ravens might need to let him to go the Chiefs or Browns and find a new WR1. |
OK ... it's Friday, need to put your chips in folks. It's hard to go against experience, find a way to win Chiefs but I'm going with the 49'ers to win the SB. If the 49'ers have a perfect game, or close to one, they can do it. That and I'm kind of tired of the Chiefs winning. |
I am trusting CMC to carry the 49ers CMC as SB MVP |
KC is going to win, mark my words. |
The Official *NFL* thread Niners win on Sunday thanks to their defence and running backs. Their D played awful in the first half against Detroit in the conference championship. Their defence will be very motivated to play against the defending champs to prove the critics wrong. If their defensive coordinator Wilks makes quick adjustments to defensive schemes during the game in response to the Chiefs offence, Niners win. It comes down to the Niners running game and their defence. -not just Purdy. If their running game is solid along with their defence, Niners beat the Chiefs. One of my co workers is a huge Niners fan. He's been a fan since the days of Joe Montana and Steve Young. He said that he'll be so stressed on Sunday watching the Superbowl. LUL Co worker bought one bottle of this Niners sparkling white wine: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6f07dc58dd.jpg |
I'm going Chiefs I have to, because if the Ravens can't beat the Chiefs, obviously nobody can! KEKW |
The Official *NFL* thread Niners defence will need to figure a way to defend against the numerous screen passes that Mahomes throws in games. Chiefs lead the league with 95 screen passes completed in the regular season. Andy Reid uses a variety of screen passes against defenses. Screen passes to the tight ends and wide receivers. I really don’t care who wins but as a hockey playing youngster who knew nothing about football back in the day, the only play I could announce was “Montana to Rice!” Fast forward 15 years or so and I’m half cut in a Florida hotel bar watching the Niners in a big game and realize then how much of a chess match the sport can be. After that I started watching more Seahawks games when I got home. The rest of my household are rooting for the Chiefs. I like to bust chops and have thick skin if things go the other way. For these reasons, I say go Niners. Plus I’m completely Swiftied out. |
Let Go !!! 3 Times SB Winner - KC or 3 Times SB Loser - Kyle shanahan |
Someone on the 49ers will need to have a magical game to win; Chiefs match up better in every way. Spags defense excels vs condensed formation with the corner and safety blitz, and the 49ers run a condensed formation more than any other team in the league. Watch out for that! Watch the corners |
Purdy looks confident to start, huge positive for him. Moments have been too big for him in the past but he's fine here 49ers running all over the Chiefs! |
CMC fumbles! WOW |
49ers flying on defense too Chiefs better rally up! |

Damn what a game so far ... if you're a fan of DEFENSE! I'm calling score 3-3 at end of regulation. Final score 6-3 for 49'ers in OT. |
I'm loving this defensive battle! Sucks to see Greenlaw go down though damn |
Chiefs starting to crack under the pressure Kelce looks like he's having his own personal crisis on the bench |
The Official *NFL* thread Quote:
Plenty of time for the Chiefs to make adjustments on offence. KC won their last two Superbowls while trailing in the game at halftime. As for Kelce, what he did with yelling at Coach Reid is disrespectful. Like really? What the heck has he done in this Super Bowl so far? Shut up and play better, Travis haha. Kelce doesn't want to let Taytay down ... cracking under the pressure of all the Swiftie fans. Yah, lots of time and game left !!! |
This might be one of Mahomes' worst performances ever Even the completions were inaccurate, his guys making plays. Which is fine, but then this happens |
INT bad to worse |
