Let Russ cook :alone: |
Not that I completely disrespect Russ.. He had some phenomenal plays last year with the Broncos. But really they were desperation plays with some one in a million catches on the sidelines. Very exciting, not fear inducing. You never know though! Maybe he balls out with Arthur Smith as the OC. They have a legit guy with George Pickens, as long as he's getting enough targets to be happy. |
Kirk Cousins plays for the Falcons now. Four year deal for 180 million. https://www.nfl.com/news/kirk-cousin...tlanta-falcons Saquon signs with the Eagles. https://www.nfl.com/news/eagles-sign...5-million-deal |
The NY Giants is f--king stupid :rukidding: |

So many moves in FA today, Jacobs, Barkley, Aaron Jones gets cut...... I wouldn't be mad if the Vikings signed Aaron Jones. |
There was a lot of talk about Saquon to the Ravens but the Eagles got him for $37.5 million over 3 years I'm guessing Derrick Henry is their next target (Titoons signed Tony Pollard) Falcons could be good this year.. They have players, they just didn't have a QB or coach. Looks like Burrow's contract is about to cost them Tee Higgins unless they somehow get him to sign long term and then Chase next year |
Tee Higgins & Chase both are TOP Receivers demand to be #1 on any team. |

Vikings signing Sam Darnold and Aaron Jones. I like the Aaron Jones signing, Darnold as a bridge is fine I guess. I really hope he's not seeing too many spirits this year. Now do the Vikings trade into the top 3 or do they go with McCarthy, Nix or Penix? https://i.imgur.com/dDprgwV.gif |
Some team should really give Mason Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer a shot to compete for starting QB, maybe a 2-3 year contract. He isn't going to win you a SB, I don't think, but a good consistent 9 or 10 W's for the season is within the realm of possibility. Then you squeak into playoffs and see what happens. Mason would be probably more consistent than any of the names you listed above. |
Nice to see Darnold get a chance. He was no worse than Purdy when he stepped in for him, and I think if he'd been the starter instead, they would have gone just as far with him. Not to say he's this great QB, but he's definitely better than he was on the Jets! Also POGGERS This one is painful because they tried to get him at the trade deadline... If they did, they probably win the SB. |
Patriots got Jake Brisket. That's a good signing! Underrated above mid tier QB |
Problem with having a top running QB and a top RB is that there's only 1 ball |
^ was thinking the same but maybe this way, less pressure on LJ to run with it and probably less stress on the HC and training team that LG will get hurt and go down. |
Agreed. They already #1 Running Team last year. I always think Lamar J. runing was his biggest weapon. He aren't no pocket passer type although he proofed he can throw accurately. |
I think it's more that the threat of Lamar running is an important asset for their offence. Teams had to scheme around it, or got cooked (except the Chiefs who had perfect secondary play on top of it). Now they have to scheme around it AND worry about Derrick Henry, who rarely takes snaps off. Oh and he has a 300 lbs FB/Sniffer clearing the way. Then they will have Keaton Mitchell who hopefully comes back healthy about halfway into the season. Mitchell and Henry had two of the fastest RB runs last year (and are like 60 lbs different in weight lol) I really like the signing. I've always been a fan of Henry even when he was killing the Ravens in the playoffs in that awful 2019 playoffs game. Sent Earl Thomas into the ether. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GIk3M2HW0AAECeY.jpg |
Flacco to the Colts ...1 yr deal ~$8M ...what a payday! He did himself real good. |
Flacco doing a tour of Baltimore's most hated cities... I wonder if he signs with Pittsburgh next year? LUL Good for him! |
Kirk Cousins' agent is a first ballot Hall of Fame sports agent. LUL How this average QB can be paid hundreds of millions of dollars in his career is largely due to his talented agent. Let Russ cook? Cousins' has been cooking his entire career in terms of how much money he has been making as an average QB. Cousins' has made so much money, guaranteed money, from his contracts. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/...8dd7a7d22d1c79 Here's a look at the all-time NFL career earnings leaders entering 2024. Player Earnings Years Aaron Rodgers $342.5 million 2005-present Kirk Cousins $331.7 million 2012-present Matthew Stafford $328.3 million 2009-present Russell Wilson $256.4 million 2012-present Ryan Tannehill $196 million 2012-present Von Miller $179.3 million 2011-present Joe Flacco $175.7 million 2008-present Trent Williams $168.7 million 2010-present Ndamukong Suh $168.2 million 2010-22 Derek Carr $165.7 million 2014-present |
Speaking of Rourke, Patriots re-signed him to a 1 year deal. Good for him, hopefully, he gets his break soon. https://www.tsn.ca/nfl/canadian-qb-n...iots-1.2089219 |
Dak Prescott sues a woman for extortion, and a day later he's accused of sexual assault :suspicious: |
And the Chargers were somehow able to keep both Bosa and Mack |
Oh yes, the classic one nowadays. Let me claim you sexually assaulted me 7 years ago for a quick pay up. Fuck out of here, I'm tired of this garbage. Laws need to be passed to dissuade these women from making false allegations for an easy payday, there should be criminal consequences when someone is found not guilty against the accuser. |
Vikings trade for Houston's 1st round pick this year so now they have 11 and 23 this year. I'm guessing they either trade 11, 23 and next years 1st with NE to move up to 3 and take Daniels/Maye whoever is there or they keep 11 and draft Penix at 23. I'd be OK with either and if they do trade up we really are only screwed next year as far as picks but next year we also have more cap room than any team in the league so they can fill holes through free agency. |
