Man that stiff-arm Lamar did on that drive where he threw the TD, that was a thing of beauty. That man threw a 250 pound lineman to the ground like he was a little doll. Insanity. |
Another uneventful week of NFL except for the barn burner between Ravens and Bengals. I missed the game but must have had Skinny on a roller coaster ride, trading TD for TD, punch for punch, then tying it and winning it in OT. I just watched the highlight of OT and that was like more than enough highlights than the snoozer fest on Sunday Night football. Ravens claw their way back to tie 1st place in the AFC North. Only other thing worth mentioning might be, NFL, don't make players over 40 play games in London. It takes them longer to get over the jet lag. SF lost again .. to Arizona?? I generally don't like to wish injury to any player, especially good ones, but at this point, I like to see Chiefs deal with a bit of adversity, someone please knock them off their cocky pedestal. |
Bills vs Texans was good too, came down to the wire. Some bad play calling at the end, where they threw 3 incompletions instead of trying to run down the clock. Josh Allen went 9/30 for 131 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 4 rushes for 54 yards. So maybe he's obviously not doing well, and they have even more reason to hand it off? Steelers vs Cowboys too! Not a high scoring game but an exciting one in a wild environment and also came down to the wire. If you can put 20 points on a Justin Fields run offense, you will beat his team 90% of the time. |
Sh*t show in NY ... !! Love it ...haha. Bill Belichick, have your cell phone nearby. |
Fire Saleh but not Hackett KEKW They say he was going to demote him today but ended up getting shitcanned instead LUL BB hates the Jets, he's probably laughing his ass off at this news |
Boy, it's been bad times for my Pats. It's gets worse with team captain Jabrill Peppers facing criminal charges. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-places-...llowing-arrest The NFL placed New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers on the Commissioner Exempt List on Wednesday following his arrest over the weekend. Peppers, a team captain, may not practice or attend games while on the list. The 29-year-old was arrested on Saturday morning. He was charged with assault and battery; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; strangulation; and possession of a Class "B" substance believed to be cocaine, according to police. The Patriots defensive back appeared for his arraignment on Monday at Quincy District Court and entered pleas of not guilty on the charges, according to The Associated Press. Peppers' next court date is scheduled for Nov. 22. "Any act of domestic violence is unacceptable for us," Patriots coach Jerod Mayo said Wednesday. "As a team, no matter if you're a player, staff member, we're wholeheartedly against any type of domestic violence. I know the organization's position, which I fully support. "With that being said, I do think that Jabrill has to go through the system, has to continue to go through due process. We'll see how that works out." |
Some good games this weekend: 1. Wash vs. Balt was one ... kid QB stood up tall in a big stage. Kept the game close. 2. Det >>> Dal - first, terrible injury for a great defensive player, Hutchinson. Still spanked the Cowboys. Dallas is a great at being a mediocre team. 3. WTH is wrong with Tennessee? 4. NO keeping up with Tampa in 1st half and then boom ... 51-27 ??!! NO didn't score a point in the 2nd half. 5. Chicago doing well, surprisingly! 6. Joe Flacco ... do NOT bet against him in any game. 7. MNF ... go Josh Allen and Bills! |
I only caught 3 games this Sunday, but at least able to watch the hyped Ravens vs Commandos game live. Daniels played well and made some amazingly accurate throws. Reminded me a bit of CJ Stroud's first game vs the Ravens, where they were too much for him and his team to handle, but you could tell he's the real deal. Daniels is the real deal Jags are a rough watch, and they play very undisciplined. They were rolling to start, but ran into penalty problems in the red zone every time they made it there. Bears were playing great, so were able to pull out of range. That coaching staff (and GM) have got to go. Wipe the whole thing clean, and build around Trevor. He is also the real deal, but needs good coaching and scheming like Daniels and Stroud are getting. Then I watched the boring Bungles vs Giants game. The Giants offense is a struggle to watch, with a bunch of dull stick routes and hitch routes, everything very static like Danny Dimes is unable to hit moving targets. Their defense was fun to watch though. |
Lil post-game moment in the Lions locker room. These boyz are having a lot of fun. |
Their AFC opponents this year are the AFC South, and then the Bills.. They are going to have a very good record. But if they make it to the SB, I would bet for (pretty much) whoever their opponent is. |
Edit ... yah, upon seeing other camera angles and in slow mo ... guy had possession. Good on yah Rodgers, the Hail Mary king. But it doesn't matter ... NYJ got the L. |
Sloppy game with awful officiating. Imagine losing a game by 3 where the kicker had two doinks KEKW https://i.giphy.com/wIlfJGDKSJKsz9wWe1.gif |
Jets and Bills both made moves after that shitty game. Jets finally land Davante, and Bills trade for Amari Cooper from the Browns Jets also put Mike Williams on the trading block, but good luck with that |

 (this is for everyone to see where their team is at.. Broncos looking good too!) |
The Official *NFL* thread Awesome game between the Lions and Vikings. Detroit gets the top spot in the NFC. First loss for the Vikings. Jets defence is awful. Fourth straight loss for Rodger’s and his team mates hahha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Week 7 observations and thoughts: 1. Yah, nail in the coffin for the Jets, bye Rodgers, sorry, not going to happen. Waste of another year, Huge hole of 2-5 to dig out of. Steelers look more balanced with Russell Wilson at QB. Sitting at 5-2 with smoke and mirrors. 2. Jayden Daniels ... concerned to see him leave the game. Gotta be careful not to run recklessly, you're the real deal, but a small frame guy. Play smart. Vet Mariota came in and finished well albeit, vs. Carolina Panthers. 3. Agree ... saw the highlights of Det vs. Minny ... cream of the NFC crop. Really like the Lions and coach Campbell putting together a winning, hard-working, blue collar culture. 4. Can someone get a voodoo doll and put a curse on the KC Chiefs, would like to see them lose a game or two ... 5. MNF between Baltimore vs. Tampa should be good but Ravens should win by 10. |
Deshaun Watson suffered a torn Achilles tendon on his right leg. Not looking good for the Browns. Watson suffered the injury when his leg appeared to get hyperextended on a noncontact play as he tried to carry the ball on the first snap after the two-minute warning. ^ ah yes ... maybe the best thing that could have happened to the Browns. The GM/Coach won't have to lose face to bench his arse. Not that they have anyone down the pipe but it's their own doing. Zero sympathy there. |
Lots of big games today, and I got to watch 5 of them! Patriots vs Jags, Pats had a well scripted first 2 drives, but were totally lost after that. However Maye looks very promising. Get some skill around him and he'll cook. He's proven to me already to be a better prospect than Nix. Jags looked real good, but it's the Patriots. Most importantly here though, was not a ton of dropped passes. Vikings vs Lions delivered a tremendous NFCN battle that came down to the wire. Talk about back and forth - it started looking like it would be a Vikings route, then the Lions fought back to take over. They still almost lost to the turnover, but sealed the win in the end. Awesome exciting game Packers vs Texans wasn't as exciting in terms of offense, as both teams were getting destroyed by each others defensive fronts. I think each team had over 10 plays for negative yards, so the run games weren't working. Jordan Love is highly underrated IMO Even more of a stinker was Chiefs vs 49ers, both teams are decimated by injury, but only one has Mahomes so of course they're going to win. Mahomes faking going out of bounds is a dirty play that is going to get him killed some time since defenders are just going to say fuck it, I'm going to get a 15 yard penalty either way, I'm going to take this faker's head off. What really stood out to me was Purdy's awful play when The Avengers aren't available other than Kittle. Then you got the Jets vs Steelers, where the Jets just crumbled under the oppressive defense of the Steelers. Jets defense is also incredibly beat up, and though it took a quarter and a bit, Wilson was able to eventually pick on them. Rodgers had some INTs but I don't think they were his fault. Garrett Wilson kind of stinks. Davante should be a bigger part of the picture next week, but it might be too late. Steelers at 5-2 is insane lol. But if you look at their opponents, it makes sense. Game 1 vs Atlanta with an immobile Kirk Cousins, Denver with Bo Nix's second career game (and more importantly, their defense still coming together), Chargers with a broken down Herbert, then the free-falling Raiders and troubled Jets. Their two losses were against the only two decent teams they played, a Flacco led Colts, and the Cowboys. They have the Giants next which should be another easy win, going into their bye, then it gets tougher - They have to play all 6 of their divisional games so that's 2 Ravens and 2 Bungles, with the Commandos, Eagles, and Chiefs mixed in. Difficulty of schedule is quite important in the big picture if you're trying to evaluate a team, and can make teams look better or worse than they really are. |
Watson's injury looked just like Rodgers' when he tore his Achilles. Sad. Apparently Browns fans were cheering for it, which I get. Boo the rapist. But that's not great. They still have to pay him, but at least they don't have to deal with the drama and conflict of benching him (if there was no conflict, I think they would have done it 2 weeks ago) |
Broncos got some steam on now, despite having a QB that throws <200 yards per game lol... defense is getting them all their points and kicker has the 3rd busiest leg in football right now... running game with 2 back set is also propping them up. Hopefully Nix continues to learn on the job. |
Ravens vs. Buccaneers should be a good game to watch for MNF. Lamar vs. Baker. -hearing news from a co-worker, a 49ers fan, that Aiyuk's injury is much worse than the initial diagnosis. Torn ACL, MCL, and other knee damage. Maybe Shanahan puts more plays in the 49ers playbook for Deebo, Ricky Pearsall, and Jennings? Ricky sounds like a talented player. He survived a gun shot into his chest in late August from a robbery attempt. Maybe Aiyuk's injury opens an opportunity for Pearsall to be a bigger part of the 49ers offence? |
The Official *NFL* thread Lamar is cooking tonight. Three TDs so far. Monday Night Football stat. Most touchdowns without INTs goes to Lamar. 18 TDs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Lamar blocking for Henry was an all timer EleGiggle |
Lamar playing like a man on an absolute mission this year |
