GG Broncos |
It's Bover Sadge I was hoping for an upset but not expecting it. Bills looked terrifying on the first drive but more like what you'd expect a good team to look after that. I can see the Ravens beating them again. They are way more tested. But who knows, it's football *shrug* |
Stupid Bills fans chanting MvP and then they put the graphic up of Lamar’s stats vs Allen’s and talking like it’s a toss up… no it’s not?! Not even close… Lamar better by a wide margin in every category lol Yards Throwing Rushing Yards TD Comp% Int He’s ahead in every single one.. almsot 1,000 yards rushing even actual RB’s struggle to hit that annually. I’m not a Ravens fan by any means, but it’s Crazy with a capital C that these media guys even think it’s close. |
I'm excited as a Broncos fan despite the horrible loss, was not expecting to win just hoping to... but now after 10 years of auditions and drafting we finally have a good if not great QB, they can at last start focusing on other positions like receiver, running back, front D and O line... they did an admirable job with what they have, but especially the receiving corps I think is pretty weak and the O line lacks that big push. Another almost all-pro level CB would really shore things up too. |

Great passing from Jordan Love to his wide receivers in tight defensive coverage. What a run from Josh Jacobs! Packers are keeping the game close against the Eagles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Big mistake from Heath. He stepped out of bounds. Eagles take over the ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
GB just got too many injuries. Even JJ was out the last few plays. Their guard going down on the first series killed most of the chance they had against this defense. |
Pretty good weekend of playoff football !! Much has been said already but ... 1. Surprise result of the Chargers and Texans, I've always liked Shroud as the next gen top QB, playoff football stage wasn't too big for his shoes, they are exciting to watch. CJ did well as with Jayden Daniels ... unlike Love nor Nix ... yet. Hiebert was off but commentators raised whether the LA fires might have threw the team off, it has to when so many people you know were affected. 2. Ravens vs. Steelers - it was a tune up for the Ravens, did they even need a shower after the game? Steelers didn't present much of a challenge, that 1st half! People will put blame on Tomlin and some goes to him but then he was never gifted a top level QB. No way they should offer Wilson what people are saying market value for him, 3 yrs for $100M ??!! Try your luck with Justin Fields for $8-10M/yr for 3 yr term? And walk away from this experimental yr with Wilson. 3. Den vs. Buffalo ... didn't live up to the hype that Denver might make it close. But you have a very experienced QB on one team with a rookie on the other. Broncos had a good year and let's just say they have a helluva higher ceiling with Nix than with ... Wilson. I have a feeling Broncos will be around and competitive for a while if they build right. 4. GB vs. Philly was a bit of a letdown in terms of excitement or even a close game. The right team advanced. 5. WSH vs. TB was a real good game, got a lucky doink off the post for the W. I mean this wasn't really an upset as WSH was 12-5 and TB was 10-7, just that TB was div leader. I like what Quinn has done with this team. They are taking the fast track of maturation and will be good for years to come. 6. MIN vs. LAR, I think MIN deserves to advance but you got a very experienced prev SB winner team at home. But I think MIN should pull it off, maybe like tonight's game with the better team on the road to a lesser team. Next week AFC will be insane with the best 4 teams peaking at the right time. BAL at Buffalo Texans at KC |
Rams aren’t really at home if they’re playing in Arizona… advantage gone… Stafford has played like absolute shit the last 4 games he played, they just somehow won most of those games. |

I said it last week but to me, tonight determines Darnold's future with the Vikings. If he shrinks up again and is over throwing everyone I really don't think the Vikes invest the money in him. They have JJ under contract for 5.5m a year for the next 3 years and KOC is great at working with QB's so there is a good chance the team regression is minimal. They sign Jones to a small contract and retrain him, get rid of Mullens. That said, if he balls out, win or lose I think there is a much higher probability they decide to sign him. That 40 million you'd have to give Darnold can fill holes on that O-Line and at corner making this team even stronger. This game is a coin flip for me, I really hope the Vikings team I've watched most the year shows up. |
I think they go with JJ either way, because like you said, if they invest that $40M and get similar play out of JJ, they will be a MUCH better team. This game will tell us in part how much of a market he has in the off season. He's earned it already, but will have to keep it up to keep that number high. |
Haha well safe to say Darnold isn’t showing us anything at all so far this game |
6 sacks in the half, man |
:suspicious: |

Welp ... Sam Darnold just probably played his way out of $10-15M/yr on his next contract. After the sting of this loss and the disappointing end to the season, JJ McCarthy prob the happiest player on the Vikings, you're up next buddy. |
Not a good showing for Sam, and he'll still get a job. He showed what he can do at peak, but also showed what he CAN'T do when protection isn't great. Probably another short term deal for a transitional team looking for a QB but unable to draft a prospect... Raiders, Saints, Jets, Steelers, teams like that I think. Rams are legit but the Eagles are a tough tough test for them. Any other NFC team I could see them winning. If they get past the Eagles they'd be my pick for NFC team in the Super Bowl. |

We got a great game between the Texans and Chiefs. CJ Stroud with a great TD drive in the third quarter. Good to see him running the ball to for first downs. 13-12. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I 100% knew the game would have stats like this. It came down to Chiefs getting fake penalties at just the right time (except for one where Mahomes slowed down on the boundary to take a hit trying to draw a foul.. dude should hide in shame after that) and some awful special teams play by the Texans. Because of this, Chiefs could send pressure which is CJ's weakness, and they lit him up when it got to crunch time. |
Wow, Goff throws a pick six! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Jared Goof game! It's not over though, with Gibbs and half a game, they can get back into it Baby Lamar is killing them with the read option. Defense can't possibly be right numbers wise, so they HAVE to make plays. But with this personnel, that is a tough task. |
