This is the least I've cared about the Super Bowl probably since Pats vs the Jared Goff Rams. Also 2 weeks between games really doesn't help keep my interest up
I'll still watch it of course, but not hyped at all about anything beyond hoping for a good game. And it SHOULD be a good game.
Hoping the Eagles win, but the Chiefs are inevitable so whatever

I don't understand a single word he is saying/singing/rapping. Absolutely terrible half-time show. C'mon NFL, not everyone watching the SB is a 20 yo, gangsta black man, or dates one.
This guy and Drake are in some sort of heated war of words. Lamar wrote some lyrics accusing Drake of being a pedophile ... so, does anyone know if he performed that song? I'm guessing no, NFL should be smart enough not to let him. Please bring back Shakira, J.Lo, Dr. Dre, Eminem.

Kendrick Lamar won a Grammy award for Record of the Year for “Not Like Us.”
Although I am not a fan of rap music, Kendrick is a very talented rapper. He is great at dissing Drake haha.

First time seeing Kendrick Lamar (edit: I am told he was at the LA Super Bowl so I would have seen him then too but I guess he wasn't a big star then) and that was fucking incredible. Great production, sick bass lines. I am familiar with the backstory but not the song, and when the entire crowd chanted "A MINOR" I got goosebumps. Even on the outside looking in, it was sick.
And I appreciated the down to earth production without the dumb stunts or fake fans on the field
