Russell Wilson cooks for the Giants. 1 year, 10.5 million US of guaranteed money.
-potential for Russ to earn $21 million.

-happy to see my Pats sign Stefon Diggs. If his knee is 100 percent, Diggs gives some punch to the New England offence.

^ that sounds about right for Wilson .. ~ $10M/yr for a SB winning QB a decade ago, can still hand off the ball, veteran presence, can hype up a team, lobs it up in the air 30 yrds downfield for whichever player (your team or the other) can jump the highest, has a famous & hot wife, and will lose 3/4 of the last 8 games of the season.

The main issue with Diggs is he's a bit of a cancerous player, he's more of a me guy than a team guy, and in his eyes he's more important than the team. As long as their getting him the ball consistently, probably not an issue but if he isn't the number one guy, or if he feels he isn't getting the ball enough he'll rot that team from the inside out.

It's the reason he's no longer a Viking, or a Bill, not sure about how he was on the Texans.

Finally !! So now both teams get to touch the ball in OT, even if first team scored TD. Which seems more fair to me.

It's about time there is a rule change for overtime. -fair for both teams to touch the ball even if one team scored a touchdown on their first possession in OT.

This is a pretty big rule change off the field in terms of free agency:

Free agency changes: PASSED

This is the biggest off-field element of the new rule changes. It allows for teams to conduct meeting with players over Zoom (which is fairly minor), but much more importantly allows teams to schedule meetings with free agents before the Legal Tampering Period begins.

These meetings can be scheduled before the league year opens, which means we could see top free agents begin to tip their hands as soon as the Super Bowl is over. Yes, this means the league year is going to feel even longer, and there’s going to be more data to track.
