Amazing play but man they shouldn't have been in that situation, only able to score one touchdown. Kam stole that game.

I can see the Seahawks going like 9-5 or even 8-8 if they don't get their o-line working right.

SkinnyPupp 10-06-2015 09:06 PM

In case you missed it, that last play by Seattle should have been a penalty (KJ Wright batting it out of the end zone). Detroit should have gotten the ball back with 1st down on the 1 yard line....

It was considered a subjective call, so the replay booth doesn't reverse the call. The ref in that instant decided that it wasn't done purposefully.

murd0c 10-07-2015 07:17 AM

of course it was on purpose, what a joke

I assume that if the Detroit coach saw KJ Wright batting the ball out of the end zone, he can challenge the ref's call on the field. It's too bad that the coach didn't call a challenge.

Last two minutes of the game its an automatic booth review with no coaches challenges remember

SkinnyPupp 10-08-2015 10:23 AM

Yup only booth review, and they can't challenge a judgement call like this anyway, only things like was he down by contact before a fumble, placement of ball, etc.

pastarocket 10-18-2015 03:22 PM

What a hard fought win for Carolina. Cam Newton threw some bombs in this game, especially that winning TD pass to Olsen.

Seahawks' defense collapses again in the fourth quarter. :lawl:

Where is the Legion of Boom? :troll:

The one bright spot for Seattle was the chemistry developing between Wilson and Jimmy Graham. Jimmy played a good game.

This was one of the most glorious sporting moments for me... After listening to them suck Peyton's balls for half a game about how he was going to get the yardage record... Only to be picked off on a greedy throw (after almost doing the same trying to get the record with a TD throw). The talk before the game was "are the Indy fans going to give Peyton a standing ovation when he gets his record against them?" and of course they were huge favourites to win

Always fun to watch the Broncos lose, and this made it so much sweeter FeelsGoodMan

H.Specter 11-09-2015 10:24 AM

chicken parm not so good no more.

greedy? I'm not a Payton fan, my boy is Brady, but to say he was greedy on that throw in a attempt to get a record, are you for real? they were down my 3 pts and running the 2 min offensive, because of time constraints, you will have to make throws that are of high risk. Him breaking the record is inevitable, haters gonna hate.

Favorites to win? the line started at -4.5 and moved to -3 by game time, hardly huge favorites.

I agreed commentary and media ride on mannings dick, but the guy is class act, respected by his peers, he aint no dude that doing things for the record books anymore. My guess would say he would trade all his records for more rings.

I much prefer they give attention to guys like Manning then spend time on guys like Hardy, how can you hate on a guy that has done nothing but good for the game?

pastarocket 11-12-2015 08:46 PM

What are your thoughts on Dez Bryant going nuclear on a reporter in the Cowboys locker room?

Summary: Dez gets into a confrontation with a reporter Jean Jacques Taylor, because of an alleged racial slur that Taylor used on Dez. Taylor is black. Dez claims that Taylor used the "N" word on him.

Dez also is angry about the way Taylor makes inaccurate statements about the Cowboys.

How will the Cowboys coach stabilize this team with a 2-6 record? Dez blows up! :lawl: Bryant was way out of line to criticize that dude Rich, the NFL communications staff. What a hothead! :lawl:

SkinnyPupp 11-12-2015 08:52 PM

They're probably used to Dez blowing up like that 4Head

You're right, it was really stupid of me to say all that, and I take it all back. I guess I was just caught up in the moment and just went off. Really stupid FeelsBadMan

I just love cheering for the underdogs and really get into it against the favourites. Good for him for breaking the record at home.

Edit: And of course after I write that he goes and lays a rotten egg... Oh well he got his record and everyone got to celebrate th at. Still nice to see the Broncos lose 2 in a row. Green Bay as well FeelsGoodMan

Fuck the Patriots though

Ravens on IR: Flacco (QB1), Forsett (RB1), Taliaferro (RB2), Steve Smith (WR1), Perriman (WR2), Campanaro (WR5), Waller (WR6), Pitta (TE1), Zuttah (C1), Suggs (OLB1), Davis (CB4), Elam (SS2)

43% of their cap is spent on players who won't play this season.

Well at least the Ravens dead cap money is mostly a result of injuries. The Saints are spending $15.45 million of dead cap money on 4 players not even on their team this year (Jimmy Graham $9 million, Curtis Lofton $5 million, Ben Grubbs $6 million and Junior Galette $5.45 million)

$15.45 that's cute. Ray Rice ($9.5m) Ngata ($7.5m) and Jacoby ($2.6m) are costing the Ravens $19.6m this year which I included in the figure above.

This season is such a disaster, but I admit I totally saw this coming. I can't believe some were predicting a good season this team, including (I think) ESPN predicting a SB appearance. FailFish

An acquaintance gloated to me today that his team for an NFL pool is helping him get many points today thanks to the Eagles serving Thanksgiving turkey to the Lions today.

He showed me the stats of the 45-14 blow out win for Detroit. Megatron gets three TDs. Stafford threw 5 TDs. He has Megatron on his team.

I'm thinking "ok. I don't really care because I have been a Patriots fan since 2001" :lawl:

Aaron Rodgers loses at home again FeelsGoodMan

Bender Unit 11-27-2015 09:17 AM

His Receiver fell him.
Adam should catch those balls.
Cobb, Jones was no where to be seem

pastarocket 11-27-2015 10:22 AM

That was a heartwarming jersey retirement ceremony for Brett Favre.
-mad respect for one of the toughest QBs to ever play in the NFL.

The Cowboys got wrecked by Carolina yesterday. :lawl:

First, Romo throws the 3 interceptions. Then he gets his collarbone fractured again.

Bender Unit 11-29-2015 11:25 AM

Amazing to watch Adrain Peterson rushing.
Move + Power

pastarocket 11-29-2015 08:41 PM

The winning streak had to end sooner or later for the Patriots.

This loss against the Broncos hurts because of Gronk sustaining a knee injury. It is an injury to the same knee that he had reconstructive surgery on in January 2014.

Edelman, Amendola, Lewis, and Gronk are all hurt now!
:fuuuuu:

SkinnyPupp 11-30-2015 08:07 PM

Those were some fucking awesome games this weekend and today!

7seven 11-30-2015 08:10 PM

What a crazy end, oh Cleveland lol. Great week of NCAA and NFL again.
