maaaan, i wonder what Malcolm Butler did to get benched by BB. that decision may have cost the pats the game because their CBs (minus for Gilmore) were traaaaaaaaash
This year's Superbowl was a very entertaining game to watch starting from the first play to the last play of the game. Even Justin Timberlake killed it with his halftime show and tribute to Prince by singing one of the late Prince's songs.
I agree with your first sentence. But JT was a bit of a bore, nowhere close to 'killing' it!
I was 99% sure Gronk was going to catch that Hail Mary, followed by a 2 point conversion to tie... SO NICE that it didn't happen for once. God damn
I agree the Timberlake show was boring. No big guests, no stunts or set pieces.. Just music, which would be good if the music was something other than pop. Prince tribute was nice though
Two teams seemingly moving in opposite directions too.. Will be nice to have the rivalry going again! Their game from around xmas several years ago was one of my all time favourites
As a Vikings fan Brees or Cousins is an upgrade, Brees gives them the best chance to win right now Cousins gives them an OK chance right now but obviously is much younger. I wouldn't be mad if they signed either one.
Most likely Bridgewater will be the backup and Keenum will be moving on unless they can't sign Cousins or Brees in which case they'll have to make him an offer if he's still available. I don't blame them for not franchising him, would have cost to much money and he's probably played the best season he'll ever play I'm pretty sure that was his ceiling.

IMO Keenum was a one time thing. Just the right guy in the right system at the right time.
Foles will be the same way. They played around him SO MUCH, and thankfully they only had to do it for two games, and it worked practically to perfection.
My Patriots wanted Amendola to take a paycut so Danny decided to leave for South Beach. Good move for him to play for the Dolphins instead of staying with the Pats.
Brees signs 2 year, 50 million deal with the SAints.
Keenum is expected to sign with the Broncos.
Bradford is signing a 1 year, 20 million deal with the Cards.
Ex-Vikes QB Bridgewater is working on a deal with the Jets.
If anyone is interested in joining a fantasy football league, I have 4 spots in my league that need to be filled. 10 team league, 0.5 PPR, IDP (1x linebacker). Draft is currently set for Mon Sept 3rd at 7:30pm.

OBJ got paid big time today with a new contract extension.
-5 year, 95 million US contract. 65 million is guaranteed money for him.
He likes to party, although he's been one of the most productive receivers ever early in his career I can see him letting shit outside football get to him and hurt his production on the field, especially because he has so much guaranteed and all those endorsements. It doesn't help that Eli isn't what he was, I hope I'm wrong because I'd like to see him keep it up but I don't see it.

Holy crap Raiders fans must be on suicide watch today. Trade away Mack because they don't want to pay him, trade a draft pick for AJ McCarron, then release Martavis Bryant who they traded a draft pick for. Gruden, what is doing bby??
