Matt Ryan and Nick Foles played bad in the first game of the season. -5 straight incompletions to end a poor game by Ryan.

Foles played nowhere near his level that brought the Eagles to a Superbowl win.

-wonder why Philly didn't change their strategy to play a running game instead. Ajayi barely saw the ball in the first quarter. Clement and Sproles barely got touches on the ball for rushing.

Falcons suck in the red zone.

The best part of the game was Boyz II Men singing the U.S. national anthem.

Any surprises on the first week of the NFL season?

Aaron Rodgers was unreal ...
A tie is like a win in Cleveland
Minnie looks solid
Fitzpatrick for Tampa Bay >400 yards, 4 TD
Seattle?

I only watched the Ravens game, and Flacco sure looks good when he has some decent receivers

Could be a good season if everyone stays healthy

If Aaron Rogers plays on Sunday and he's limping around the entire game like he was in the second half against the Bears Vikings are going to eat.

Andy Dalton looked pretty decent in the first half, Flacco's throws were pretty bad for the most part. I didn't like Ravens play calling at all, would have liked to see a more balanced game plan. I know they got behind early but they could have used more screen passes and a little bit more running to open up the passing game.

Offensive play calling has always been weird post SB. Everyone made fun of "run run pass" but it actually worked back then. Now they don't seem to know what to do.

Defense shit the bed early though, so there wasn't much hope. They made Dalton look good, he looked more like himself after, IMO

Surprise that GB leading for most of the game ... Vikings playing catch up.

Edit ... another tied game. 2 in 2 weeks, strange. Looks like Minnie kid kicker will be looking for a job tomorrow.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening in the NFL?

Former Bills player Vontae Davis retired during halftime of today's game vs. Chargers.

CLEVELAND WINS! CLEVELAND WINS!

Man, Mayfield looked GOOD out there. It'll be fun to watch him the rest of the way.

Browns have been fun to watch this year! Bunch of young talent who wants to win bad and they play well like a team with Josh Gordon gone

Mayfield looks great too. A bit inaccurate but that will come in no time, just based on his college performance. Hyde is looking great as well. Their D has to be the best in the league at this point!

To think, they would be 3-0 right now if they had a decent kicker

Who else has been fun to watch?

Sorry, Browns D suck in the 1st half. Jet just walked in with those 2 TDs.
They are very talents no doubt.
But, not Best in the League right now.

LA Ram is loaded this year.
Stars on Offense & Defense.
Team to beat

It's like Cleveland won the Super Bowl last night! It was great to see classy sportsmanship by the Jets. I can't stand Hue Jackson. He was still defending Typhoid Taylor post-match with nonsensical garble.

Their D really shined towards the end of the game and Mayfield helped to shift momentum in CLE's favour.

Their kicker won a kicking competition this past Monday. That's how he got the job. He beat Blair Walsh

EDIT: I'm enjoying watching Tampa Bay

Browns defense had 6 takeaways that game, and I don't know how many in the 2 games before that... Maybe they're not the best in the league, but I think they are good, and Denzel Ward is looking really good in particular

Nice I'll focus more on LA and KC games this week along with Ravens and Browns

Coach Belichick admitted to reporters in the post game media conference that his team was out played and coached.

[emoji35]

This team is without many key players right now that can help them play better. This team hasn't lost two straight games since 2015. No excuses for the losses. The opposing teams kicked their asses!

No Trey Flowers means no pass rush. Josh Gordon is gonna get some limited play packages given that he'll need more time to understand the Pats offensive playbook.

Edelman is returning to play against the Dolphins for this coming Sunday.

Pats need to play with a sense of urgency and start games much better than the last two games they played against the Jaguars and Lions!

The Vikings got throttled and outplayed all over the place by the Bills. As a Vikes fan sad sad day.

I will say the one play where Allen jumped over Anthony Barr to extend for the first down I wasn't even mad I was like damm that was pretty awesome.

Bucs are fun to watch

FitzMagic is such a trainwreck sometimes, it's hilarious. And then he goes and sets a record for most consecutive 400 yard passing games Too bad they couldn't pull this one off... Steelers and Patriots losing would feel pretty damn good

BTW the new MNF crew is really good! The guy they had to replace Tirico was so fucking boring, I barely ever wanted to watch MNF games. But these guys are all highly entertaining. Thumbs up from me
