No Schwartz or Fisher, here's the results! What I didn't expect was KC's defense to crumble like that. Going to take some epic coaching at half time to calm them down
The Chiefs are beating themselves now with bonehead penalties on defense.
They keep giving extra first downs for Brady to throw TDs.
Brady and Gronkowski have the most TDs as a duo in Super Bowl history after Gronk’s two catches today.
It'll be interesting to see a plot of all Mahomes' pass attempts.. He can't really throw accurately to his left side because of his injured toe. And now you see him limping
I got downvoted to hell on reddit for saying the toe injury is probably a bigger deal than the choke out/concussion. Looks like it might actually be true
Like what former NFL coach Bill Cowher said at the postgame show, the game was won in the trenches.
The Bucs won the game on the scrimmage line with their defensive line and offensive dice lines. They sat back, and only blitzed five times tonight.
Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles deserves t tonne of credit for a defensive scheme that surprised the Chiefs offence.
Not saying the Chiefs would have won, but it would have been an entirely different game if they'd not lost two starter tackles. One an all time great
Buccs D played out of their minds but Mahomes was pressured more than any QB in SB history. That's an outlier, and it's due partially to losing those two guys. On top of that, nobody was getting open, and guys were dropping passes right into their hands.
The way I remember it, it was Mathieu doing his typical trash talk after a play (maybe the interception that got called back). Brady responded and probably told him he'll be going after him from now on... Brady went after him, and he got that pass interference on Evans, and they scored.
Mathieu went after him after the TD and Brady responded with a level of ferocity I don't think I've ever seen! Even Mathieu was shocked, he mentioned it in the press conference after the game
They could have traded him and received some assets back but as a thank you they released him so he could choose where he goes, probably end up on the Steelers with his brother. Texans are one of the worst run teams in the league but I'll give them credit for this move.
So how does Watson force a trade? Sit out? It doesn't sound like the Texans want to move him, that 4 first round pick ask is a lot then again Lions did get two for an older not as good Stafford.

Rams didn't give those picks for Stafford, they gave them to the Lions to take Goff
-hearing news that Russell Wilson wants out of Seattle. He is not happy with the coaching staff. -said some things to the media about the offence need to revolve around him more and better offensive line protection.
Russell has no NTC in his contract though. Seahawks can't rebuild now with no 1st round picks available in the next draft because of the Jamal Adams trade.
-gonna be sleepless nights in Seattle the longer Wilson stays in Seattle?
-heard from friends that Russell is willing to be traded to the Cowboys, Raiders, Bears, and Saints.
Ten teams called the Seahawks GM to inquire about Wilson.
Could Russell Wilson’s tenure with the Seattle Seahawks actually be nearing an end after nine consecutive years of above-.500 football?
There has been trade buzz around the star quarterback ever since his frustrations regarding pass protection and his overall relationship with the organization were made public earlier this month.
A Thursday story from The Athletic reported tensions between Wilson and the coaching staff, particularly head coach Pete Carroll, were high at times during the 2020 season. The article indicated Wilson even “stormed out of the room” during a mid-season meeting with coaches, during which Wilson was reportedly pushing for more input on personnel decisions and offensive game planning, however, his ideas were dismissed.
