Lions had the win but missed a PAT, going to overtime now

Pats with Hoyer The Destroyer drops a 40 burger on the brownies SeemsGood

Pats are legit! Mac is legit!

Tampa Bay TB's lose to Washington SeemsGood

Rudolph and Goff are so bad, this is tough to watch, and now it's OT

Lions win their first coin toss of the season, were 0-9 until now

Edit Lions make the most pathetic 48 yard kick attempt you'll ever see, it's about 15 yards short

Steelers get to FG range with 8 seconds left and then fumble! Lions recover! Tie game! KEKW

whitev70r 11-14-2021 01:35 PM

haha ... what a gong show in Det vs. Pitts ... that's an appropriate ending. A tie in NFL is like a thanks for participating ribbon.

How about those 49ers. Wow. The coaching staff must have watched video of the Rams loss to the Titans.

Interesting stat. The 49ers have a four game winning streak against the Rams.

49ers own the Rams
Seahawks own the 49ers
Rams own the Seahawks
Cardinals are just weird

It's a crazy division

Curious question, how was unvaccinated Rodgers able to play a week after testing +'ve ? Or was he just on the list because he came into contact with someone +'ve? If he was positive, are these individuals just super specimen of human beings as athletes and a week later, they can go out and perform like that? Seriously curious ...

I don't think he's the only pro athlete who was on Covid list and then a week later, come back to play.

Meanwhile, Canucks players playing lethargic like they are still suffering from Covid symptoms contracted a year ago.

Bender Unit 11-16-2021 04:49 PM

Le'Veon Bell was one of the elite RB back then with Pittsburgh Steelers
betted on himself on mega contract.
and now lost big time

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...rb-leveon-bell

whitev70r 11-16-2021 06:43 PM

Guess the Steelers won on the bet.

SkinnyPupp 11-16-2021 07:25 PM

Bell is a good guy and I supported him holding out for a contract - RBs get screwed more than any position in the league. But he just doesn't have it anymore... Which again is an issue with most RBs - their shelf life is short, and once their rookie contracts are up, teams often just look to the next rookie.

Jets had a bad line so he couldn't do anything there, and on the Chiefs and Ravens if the line didn't open up a huge hole for him, he couldn't go anywhere. And for whatever reason they didn't think it was worth trying him out in the passing game, despite him finding a lot of success with that in Pittsburgh

That being said, dude made $45 million over his career, he should retire and enjoy life.

It all depends on how bad you got it, and other health factors. Could have been a mild case, which even unvaccinated healthy people have most of the time. Lamar got it twice and seems fine (although I think he is slow to take off running this season, I think he might have an issue with his back or hip or something they're not saying)

Other players like Cam were never the same after they got covid. He had some nice plays in the last game and looks like he may start the next game, so we'll see

There was a lineman on the Vikings who was hospitalized from it despite being vaccinated... but if you're 300 lbs you're at a pretty high risk right there. He just got out 2 days ago after being in there for like a week.. Pretty sure the season might be over for him, if not his career... who knows right?

Wilson is positioning himself to get traded out of Seattle .... maybe to Pittsburgh for next season.

SkinnyPupp 11-22-2021 03:28 PM

I can see the Browns looking at him too, or the 49ers, or Broncos...

Quite a few teams actually... Raiders? Saints? Dolphins might be stupid enough to give up on Tua... Washington, Panthers... Maybe Brady finally retires and the Buccs will want to keep going

Rodgers is another that might show up on the market, and I can see the Falcons wanting to blow up their team and let Matty Ice go (now there's someone the Saints should look at)

quasi 11-24-2021 09:11 AM

Everson Griffen is having some sort of breakdown again, hopefully they get him the help he needs not sure if CTE or mental illness or a combination but he needs help for sure. Safe to say his career is probably over which sucks because he actually was having a pretty good year.

I was following this as it was happening, and it was pretty scary stuff. A lot of people telling him to call the police, and I'm like are you serious? :seriously:

He was begging his manager to help him out, and eventually the team sent someone over, and the cops did arrive too.

This isn't the first time he's had an episode like this... Such a shame, he was a great player and seems like a really great guy too, but his BPD has caused him issues his whole career.

An interesting game between the Cowboys and Raiders in US Thanksgiving.

That pass interference penalty against the Cowboys leads to the winning field goal in overtime to help the Raiders win.

The Cowboys secondary need to better if that team is a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

^ Oh man, just saw the highlights ... that was not a pass interference in OT gainst the Cowboys ... and a number of calls agains them. Harsh.

SkinnyPupp 11-26-2021 12:58 AM

The officiating in the Raiders/Cowboys game is among one of the worst I've ever seen... It was on both sides, but the Cowboys got screwed more overall. Just awful

The other two games were bad, as could be expected. How bad is Taysom Hill considering he's the backup for Siemian? Holy shit! They say he's injured, but he's well enough to be the backup, so...

Goff is just brutal, it's hard to believe he was a Super Bowl contender one year.. Even with brilliant coaching... Speaking of which, Dan Campbell is new and all, but wow he actually gave that game away. It was the Lions' game to win, but he coached the worst 4th quarter I think I've seen. They got a 12 men penalty ON OFFENSE.... DURING THE EXTRA POINT TRY.

On to Sunday! Titans @ Patriots looks good, and then Vikings @ 49ers in the afternoon. SNF is Browns @ Ravens.. Then the Browns go on bye next week, and play the Ravens again at home. :fulloffuck:

What a nail biting finish this is going to be for the Seahawks and Washington game.

Wilson throws a TD.

Seattle misses the 2 point attempt.

Seahawks penalized for illegal formation for onside kick. LUL

Another onside kick again.

Washington gets the ball back.

Sea Chickens’ slim chances for playoffs are vaporized. LUL

It would have been such a Seahawks way to win a game, but an absolute travesty of justice had it happened.

Russ has no accuracy at all anymore, and for some reason has negative chemistry with DK (he was open on that 2 pt attempt btw)

whitev70r 12-05-2021 03:51 PM

Wait ... Steelers > Ravens 20-19 ??!! What was that last 2 pt attempt instead of going for the tie ... arrogance or cocky?

SkinnyPupp 12-05-2021 07:22 PM

That's rivalry football! These games are always crazy and I am still trying to recover LUL It was a good call and a good play call but a bad pass (though can't really blame the QB as he had TJ rushing on him free and clear as the o-line were all piled up on top of each other for some reason)

Marlon Humphrey out for the season now, one of the best DBs in the league and one of the few good players who were still healthy (edit: And later on Harbaugh said this is part of why he decided to go for 2 instead of sending it to OT "we were out of cornerbacks")

O-line still in shambles, Mekari the only decent player other than the center is out a few weeks minimum.. Lamar trying to play hero ball on every snap looks great when it works, not so much when the team leads the league in sacks allowed. Reminds me of Patrick in the SB and the first half of this season.

Is this where the wheels come off? Or do they continue to win despite all this?

Either way I don't know if my heart can take it

whitev70r 12-05-2021 07:33 PM

Last game of the season is Pittsburgh at Baltimore ... let's see if that game will matter.

SkinnyPupp 12-05-2021 07:58 PM

Also watched the Lions get their first win! Those guys play HARD for their coach, especially the defense. Goff is still god awful, but managed to pull off the comeback drive against soft defense.

Watching Chiefs vs Broncos now and I can tell it'll be a laffer already. I really can't believe how much holding Chiefs tackles get away with. Seems like almost every play they hold a guy and nothing. Buccs benefit from this too
