Sad for Detroit, really liked them, so many years of adversity and thought that this might be the year that they punch their ticket to the SB. But Washington is exciting o to watch! Onto tomorrow.
Skinny, you've been batting .500 on your guesses in week 1 and so far in week 2. For tomorrow, which one of your predictions would you like to be right?

Hmm I wonder
It's tough picking close games and shootouts!
A lot of the time when there's an upset, the wins make sense in a close game that can go either way, and sometimes they don't really make sense, and are just shocking upsets.
If the Texans had won today, it would've had to have been a completely shocking game with no fake penalties from the refs, and good offense by the Texans. Neither of those happened. Everyone remembers the Texans vs Chargers being a blowout upset, but the Chargers were within 1 or 2 scores for the majority of the game up until the pick 6. The Texans were not doing anything on offense in that game and still won thanks to the turnovers.
Commandos upsetting the Bucs was an easy call in a pick 'em shootout. Rams upsetting the Vikings was a bit tougher, unless you thought the Darnold and o-line meltdown would continue
Commandos vs Lions could go either way in a big shoot out, but somehow the Lions managed to have 5 turnovers. Even when they were down 10, it didn't feel like they were out of it.. until the 4th turnover and then it was all ogre. Not as shocking because the Lions had a horribly injured defense, and the Commanders play a lot of read option. That means the defense can not possibly have numbers in their favour, so they have to rely on making plays. Relying on 3rd and 4th stringers to make plays, forget it. What I didn't expect was all the turnovers from Goof and the Lions.
I picked the Eagles to beat the Rams, but the other way around wouldn't be a shock. Same as Bills vs Ravens. 4 very good teams, only 2 will come out of it. I think the Rams and Bills are undersized on D, and am expecting them to get run over by the Eagles and Ravens offense respectively. It still has to happen though right? Who gets the chance to get fucked by the refs in KC next week? I am confident but nervous, because single elimination, good teams, all that. Neither the Rams nor the Bills winning would be a big shocking result.

I personally don't have a vested interest in who wins the Ravens vs Buffalo game, whoever has the better chance of eliminating the Chiefs would be my preference. I would have to tilt the Ravens in that favour a little bit so I guess Ravens it is.

Thankfully nothing I say or do has any bearing on the outcome
Ravens need to play more conservatively in the weather... Lamar can't hero it in weather like this after a botched snap. Play more in structure to keep weather in control (like the Bills are doing)
Not hitting the TD loses 4 points and then the fake penalty giving them 4 more points is killer.
Hey SkinnyPupp, that was a huge error on the two point convert for Baltimore.
Dropped ball haha.

Yup weather games can go that way, Andrews had a bad drop earlier too.
When they could run the ball, they dominated. Bills have a small defense and got run over, but they are also a great turnover team, and they got the turnovers.
As mentioned, 8 points went to Buffalo after not getting that TD after the Bateman catch, and then the refs gifting them a fake penalty call to go from a field goal to a TD.
Crazy good game, at least people can shut up about Lamar now after watching that (lol as if that will happen). Takes a whole team to win.
At least I don't have to watch them get fucked by the refs in a Chiefs game
Phenomenal hard nose NFL game. Classy on both sides of the field. Respect for Baltimore, even when they were down 8, they were moving down the field with efficiency. Balt's O-line game LJ all day. Just a few mistakes for the Ravens - one INT, 2 fumbles, and a missed 2 pt conversion were the difference. Bills played mistake free football and eeked out the W. No hating on the Ravens, respect for Allen and Jackson at the end.

Speaking of the refs, my gosh, I have to agree with Troy Aikman with that terrible penalty call on the Texans.
Aikman yelled “Oh, Come On!”, when the Texans got penalized for roughing the passer after two Texans players had a helmet to helmet hit when Mahomes was caught between the two players
That was a phantom penalty call from the refs to help out the Chiefs.
Mahomey barely gets hit on that play.
Love how they immediately run to each other, Lamar still smiling because even though he's disappointed, he's proud of his boy and supports him. Cool moment in the middle of all that pain
Somewhat related: College football championship game just started! Notre Dame vs Ohio State.
Go Irish! (cheering for Kyle Hamilton's team plus OSU fans are losers after that Michigan game)
Edit: Irish open the game with a 9:45 touchdown drive with 9 QB keep plays (option + designed plays). This QB looks like Josh Allen running and Brock Purdy throwing (the few times he had to throw)
If you need a stream hit me up!
Edit: Nevermind this has turned into a rout. OSU will probably put up a 50 burger on these guys
That being said in college ball you never really know
Edit 2: OK the Irish are within a score with 4 minutes left. Need to make a stop!
I have been cheering for Ravens 4th round pick 6'6" 260 lbs OLB Tavius Robinson throughout the year, as our next potential Canadian star who also happens to be on my team. He didn't get a lot of snaps, but when he did he was a force
The Buffalo game was the best game of his career; you might have even noticed it on the broadcast.
If you want to get nerdy about it with me, here's a good all 22 review of his game
OC Ben Johnson going to Chicago (a rival to Detroit)
DC Aaron Glenn going to NY Jets
It's going to be a huge test, as this is the first time they have been in this situation
Good teams get raided every year and get through it. Pats forever during their dynasty, lately it's been the Eagles, 49ers, and Ravens getting picked apart at the end of the season.
If you have been following the story, it's pretty funny. Here's the TLDR
-Shad Khan fires Doug Pederson, says he's keeping Trent Baalke in as GM
-Media puts out that the Jaguars HC position is a coveted job for several reasons, but Baalke makes it a no-go for many coaches
-Jaguars interview 10 head coaching candidates, including Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Liam Coen, Todd Monken
-Liam Coen goes back to the Bucs after his interview, who offer to make him the highest paid coordinator in the league. As long as he doesn't go back to Jacksonville for another interview
-Their presumed first choice Ben Johnson decides to go with the Bears
-Media puts out that the Jaguars are a shit show, and they don't know what's going on, and will probably have to hire a coach from the bottom of the pile
-Khan announces that Baalke is fired. Does not name a replacement
-Reports come out that Coen is off the radar and the Bucs can't get in touch with him. It comes out that he told them that he is dealing with a sick kid, taking them to the doctor
Hmmm Pete Carroll to LV Raiders! Guy is 73 but he is one of the healthiest 73yo I've seen. Somehow his personality doesn't quite fit the big bad Raiders. But good luck!
