Need Help with Router, DNS, and US netflix

Some of you have probally seen this in the “Netflix thread”, but starting a new thread as it seems to be more of a tech setup issue on my end and to hopefully get some tech help.

I’m trying to use Tunlr.net DNS codes to access US Netflix on my PS3. Long story short I have been trying a few different things for the last few days, and although internet connection worked with the new DNS codes, I still could only see CND Netflix when I fired it up.

So I did a little experiment, and plugged the PS3 directly into the Modem, no router. Reset the modem and fired up the console with the Tunlr DNS numbers, and I get US Netflix.

Then I plug the PS3 into the router (it has both wireless and hardwire connections) and try it again, this time I get only CND Netflix.

So it has to be some kind of setting on the router that I don’t understand or know how to change that’s stopping this from working. Anyone know what I can try? Having only the PS3 working in a house full of wireless devices if I want to watch US Netflix is not ideal.

I noted that my IP address changes each time I set it up differently, among other things.

The router is a Dlink 655 if that helps. Really want to get this sorted!

Note that I only have a very basic understanding of the tech aspect here, so you may have to dumb down the answers for me.

Thanks!
