My name is Fion, I am a 4th year fashion design student looking to develop a thesis around protective apparel for women who doesn't want to sacrifice protection over fashion. I have noticed a lot of women riding in vancouver without proper gear and that makes me really nervous knowing how crazy some of our drivers could be. Some of my ideas include built-in armor (built in so it won't look bulky) , hidden reflective, hidden ventilation, more storage system, waterproof outerwear and pants etc. essentially I want people to be able to wear their gear everyday even if they aren't riding their scooters making it more versatile.
before I can further develop this thesis and start my research, I need to know that there are women in vancouver looking for a product like this.
It would be really valuable to my research if I could get feedback from experienced scooter drivers like you guys! Any feedback would be great!
