your post made me think that Mclaren's test driver might be the current Stig. since he's already been testing cars on that track for so several years, Top Gear might have hired him after Ben Collins.

New stuff on the McLaren P1, it's just gone around the Nurburgring in...... under 7 minutes. McLaren won't actually say what time it did and i'm curious to find out which is faster, the P1 or the

McLaren P1 laps Nurburgring in 6:47 - report [video]
Who knows what the time will be. Hopefully close to that.
Read something about the kers system not holding enough charge for the full length of the track as it only regenerates from engine braking, not braking, like the Porsche.
Will wait for official announcements.
