i was thinking of whistler on sunday

westopher 12-22-2012 08:18 AM

This time of year, I wouldn't bother unless you have a pass. My buddy sent me pics of the lines and I almost puked.

kakucaekz 12-22-2012 02:14 PM

Whistler: Wait 45 minutes in line for a 10 minute run. Peak season is just :fuckthatshit:

Jayboogz 12-22-2012 02:25 PM

lol go into the single line...

I'd rather ride with my friends.

you can ride with your friends going down. everyone just take the singles line and meet back up top.

kakucaekz 12-22-2012 02:52 PM

I've had bad luck with singles lines, every time I've gone up I'm a chair with hella awkward and/or weird people. Scarred for life when that old guy was silently staring at me the whole ride up when I was 13 :heckno:

Gh0stRider 12-22-2012 03:07 PM

ok then, forget whistler until January.

How long is this board?
The bindings look very close together.

XplicitLuder 12-23-2012 11:21 AM

the board is 176 and i put them about shoulder width

XplicitLuder 12-23-2012 11:22 AM

anywayas goin up to cypresss with couple buddies, maybe see you guys up there. look for a tall guy with a faded-green jacket

bluejays 12-23-2012 11:33 AM

Those bindings look like they don't fit the board that nicely, hopefully there's no toe drag

Gh0stRider 12-23-2012 11:34 AM

The guy who I bought the board off from had size 14 shoes and he said he had no toe drag. I'm size 15 so hopefully that one inch won't be too much. I'll update this later today once I test em out

I can't tell you what feels right for you, but I will make a suggestion. Put a bit more angle on your front foot. Your knees will likely thank you. I wouldn't worry about the toe drag. If the guy before had 14s you'll be fine.

celica-g5 12-23-2012 10:20 PM

Went up to Cypress today, and at about 7:30, me and some friends leave our boards outside on the racks for no more than 5 minutes. We come out, and my goddamn board is gone!! Fuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! :flamemad:

Please be on a look out guys! It's a 2010/11 Neversummer Evo 158 with green Flux tt30 bindings. I am beyond PISSED off right now!!!

westopher 12-23-2012 10:37 PM

Sucks man, I had a board stolen when I lived in whistler from up at the roundhouse. Its the shittiest feeling.

TOS'd 12-23-2012 10:38 PM

shit man, that sucks so much. :(

saveth 12-23-2012 11:16 PM

That's why you should lock your board or have someone always watching it. My friend had his board stolen from cypress a couple years ago also. My board is quite rare so if someone stole mine it would be pretty easy to spot. The bindings however are a different story.
