I saw a pair of bollé goggles. Does anyone have any idea if they're good or not ? They also have a helmet there.

Also the 20% is applied to the full price of the item, no stacking discounts.
Hmmm nothing in particular right now, but maybe i'll wait for the coupon and check out coastal riders. And any idea when the next sales are gonna happen? I heard this weekend?

How were the prices there? I was also thinking of checking out goggles down in the states.

As for the goggles, the one you have there I'm not too sure about. But I also have super cheap bolle goggles from costco and they don't really fit well over my face which is why I'm looking for new goggles right now. I'm sure the more pricey bolle goggles are better though.

Honestly man, I wouldn't cheap out too much on a helmet. $59 is pretty good for a lid. I've never paid close to that mind you cuz I gotta have that LCF.

Don't buy the Costco Bolle goggles, they are so-so and the fit is horrible... also fogs up easy. Also, the lens is too dark for cloudy days - can't see properly! :P

Turkey Sale is on this weekend as mentioned, go up to Whistler if you have time for insane prices. Otherwise other stores locally are also having pre-season sales clearing out old stuff, Swiss Sporthaus in West Van, Destination Outfitters in North Van, etc. Comor and the others along West 4th ought to have something as well.

Otherwise, keep an eye out online - I've had lots of luck with Backcountry.com and Steep and Cheap. Cheap shipping to Point Roberts too if you guys do that. I've bought 2 excellent pair of goggles for $40 each.

I prefer Smith goggles rather than Oakley, better visibility on the models I have tried plus a great goggle at a better price. Helmets are always a good investment, I love Giro helmets because they are light and comfortable for wearing the entire day on the hill.

Backcountry.com Ski Goggles - bump any sale up to 50% off. Good deals.

Yeah, that's how much I got mine for I think.. it was 50 something. I did a quick look and the boardroom website has a sale on some of their helmets. Maybe check that out?

Most goggles are already 50% off, I think... at least the ones I saw were.

Also, the deal is to bump ANY CURRENT SALE to 50% off. Not everything.

If you want Oakley goggles, the store in Metro has a sale every November 20% off or something. Dunno if goggles apply though. Got my Danny Kass Crowbars from there, love 'em to death.

Also need a new helmet and poles for this season, picked up a new pair of Vokl Bridges in April this year. $750 reduced to $500. Can't wait

I can also hit up Cypress or Seymour with you guys, put my GoPro to use lol. As long as you let a lowly skier into your group lol. Not gonna buy a pass though, my timetables are often inconsistent.

I think last year we had 3 GoPros during one session, and there were like 10 of us at one point.

Definitely learned a few things from using my gopro last season. Always have something to wipe the lens of snow/water as well as always check there isnt anything on the lens. Also extend monopod a tad to get more of yourself/others in the shots. Just to name a few.

What kind of monopods are you guys using? I usually do a helmet mount, but would be interested in trying to do the monopod mount, looks cool!

Also, how hard is it to balance with the monopod when going down a run?
