Does anyone know if seymour does anything like the grouse Y2play pass, like where you can get an earlybird pass and ride the rest of the year closer to the end of the season. I've done my time at grouse, and it just isn't all that awesome. The park is nothing like it was years previous too, and I know seymour kills it, and also heard cypress stepped it up this year. Grouse is running backwards it seems.

So Celica-g5 and I are planning a trip to whistler on the 30th or 31st. Not sure on where to post the meet event but I guess we'll start one here for now and copy it over to another thread if interests peaks.

Let's make this our first official 2013 Whistler snow meet.

I think Seymour usually offers a spring pass for $99 at some point.

Anybody heading up to Seymour today? I think I might head up in a bit by myself :alone:Lots of fresh snow and no lift lines!

Pretty sick. The snow really started to pick up around 4-5. I think there was probably about 2-3 inches on my car after being parked for 3 hours. Tomorrow will be sick. Didn't hit anything in the park but everything looked like it was in good shape.

^ Sweet, hopefully I can wake up tmr morning!

I haven't been to Whistler in a long while. So I'm just wondering, for you money conscious boarder/skiers is it really worth going up for a day trip or one night stay? Last time I went they still had night riding. Now they're only opened 8:30-3:30. That's pretty weak.. 1 day of Whistler equals to 2 FULL Cypress days where I can take my time and stay there 9AM-10PM if I really wanted to. The drive is also much longer compared to Cypress (almost 3x the distance for me). Is the Whistler experience that much better?

I'm also thinking about Mount Baker instead of Whistler. Anyone stay the night there before? How is the drive?

RCubed 01-26-2013 04:23 PM

Anyone up at cypress tomorrow?
