I'm definitely down for a spring meet before the season ends. I'm pretty sure my knee will be healed up by next weekend! |

I went to Cypress on Saturday. Didn't feel it was worth it with the choppy snow conditions. It was way too hot as well. |

Their hours are from 10 to 5 now :( |
can someone tell me how y2play passes work? |
You buy one now, can use it for the rest of this season and all of next. Its just a seasons pass you get to use early. |

Seymour is 10-8 on weekdays and 10-5 on weekends for a while longer. :fullofwin: |
Do most of you guys use snowboarding socks? I was contemplating whether to buy a pair or not. I have heard things like -they don't slip or roll down your shins -they don't bunch up in your boots -better ventilation (or specific ventilation zones) -more comfortable... Do they really make that much of a difference? Are they worth the price ($15-$20)? |
I've been rocking them for years, so my vote is yes they are worth it. Just be careful if you've been used to wearing thin socks all your life as the board socks tend to be a bit thicker. |

+1 for snow socks. much more comfortable than regular socks. forgot mine last weekend and my shins had imprints from regular (not long/thick enough) ones. |
Do the thicker snowboard socks also wick away sweat? |
There are a few different thicknesses from a lot of brands and some have temp ranges on them. I have 5 pairs and rotate them so I always have a pair. I refuse to go without them. If I forget them on a trip, I'll buy some. Anything that keeps you comfortable, means you can ride harder and feel better. They pay for themselves by keeping you riding for an extra hour on those cold shitty days up peak. My grenade ones are my favourite, but I think its just cause they look cool. They all really work as well as the other. I prefer the thinner ones, because it rarely is cold out here on the coast. |
anyone have any recommendations for glove? thinking of snagging a pair while there are still sales |
Rome gloves. Get the priciest ones you can. They will last forever, just make sure they are the warm ones. It will say right on the tags where they are on the warmth scale. |
Hestra. Best gloves ever. I got 150 days out of my last pair. |
Got my Cypress season pass and went yesterday. Snow was pretty amazing! They said they received 10cm the night before and was not lying! Went on sky chair and The double black run for the first time. Super fun run I wish I had gone there all throughout the season :( |
have you guys gone one last time yet? |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 01:36 PM. |
