Thanks again for the info. I'll be sure to pick it up when I go down next weekend. Is it heavy when you extend it fully?

I think cypress was opened in the first week of november last year right?? I hope it's the same time around this year. That would only mean a 2-3 weeks from now.

Yeah but it was open with like a racing stripe of snow. Then it was shit for like 6 weeks after everywhere else was open that let their base develop properly. Im realistically hoping for last week of november for grouse. I hope they don't take their sweet time building a park either.

No problem! Never needed to fully extend it, but its not as heavy as an old(not the new super light material ones) ski pole. The weight doesnt really bother me personally. My arm isnt really tired at the end of the day though, haha.

When do you guys think opening day will be? If i recall, last year was the last week of november I think?

Just picked it up - mounted and ready to go! She's damn wide...

TOS'd, they opened super early last year I think. But usually last week of November is opening day - I don't go until December because of exams. : Also the snow is usually crappy in November, so I avoid it.

Thanks, everything there was 250 with shipping + no tax since it came from oregon. Another 4 bucks for picking up the package at point roberts and I didn't get taxed at the border.

You're killing me.
But I can't commit to the unkown, I've never been to Grouse and most people I ask would put it below Cypress and Seymour.

+1, was watching videos last season on how to do it. Looks like a really easy job, just a bit messy when scraping.

Grouse is really easy to get to and convenient, probably the most convenient place out of all of them. However, the runs are pretty boring, IMO (I haven't skied there in a bit so YMMV) and small compared to Cypress. Never been to Seymour but I think they are similar in size?

Not bad, but if you have a car I'd recommend going to Cypress instead.

I'd say Seymour has the easiest access, as the parking lot is right where the lifts are. Not really any walking necessary.. Yet Seymour is quite small, and runs can be done in a matter of seconds/minutes.

Yet Seymour is always fun for a terrain park junkie.
