45 Minute Layover at Bellingham Airport - Sufficient?

So here's the deal.

I'll be departing YVR via QuickCoach to BLI.

The estimate trip departure is 5:30AM and the estimated trip arrival is 7:15AM.

My flight to SFO departs at 8AM.

Is this enough time to check myself in as well as my luggage? I've never been to BLI, but I assume it's a smaller airport, so it should be okay?

If it makes a difference, I will be departing SFO at 12:50PM the same day for another flight.

Thanks.

I think it would be.

Based on my flights from BLI to Las Vegas (Leaving 10:30am ish). Airport is always busy for the Vegas flights obviously.

But you're getting in early by or before 7:15am so I wouldn't think it would be that busy.

Which airline are you flying? I know the Alaskan and Alegiant Airlines are notoriously busy. The frontier, not so much.

I will be flying Allegiant. I read that they require a check-in of one hour prior to airplane departure?

I think I will just arrive at Bellingham the night before to minimize risk.. Too bad there's nothing really there for me to browse around.

Airport is tiny and don't forget it's just a domestic filght. The only factor is how long it takes to load the luggage. I'd think at that time of day, you should be there by 7am with plenty of time to check in.

Bellingham international is pretty dead before the Las Vegas flights open up.

I wouldn't go with that schedule for two reasons.

Allegiant's check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to departure time.

Whenever you travel by coach, the wild card factor is the border. If one of the passengers gets pulled in for additional screening, the bus won't leave and your arrival at BLI will be delayed further.

The chances of you making that flight are slim at best. I'd stay overnight in BLI.

Had that happen to me 3 yrs ago. Allegiant flight to LAS 10:30am. Got snagged up at the border lineup and didn't make it to the airport until 10am. Allegiant wouldn't let me board and I had to pay an extra 200$ to fly the next flight from Alaskan.
