This is a Canon EOS 7D.
It’s been a fantastic camera for me. It’s great for landscape and portrait photography as it has 19 autofocus points compared to 9 that most entry level cameras have. It’s also really good for any kind of sports or fast action, as it can shoot 8 pictures per second! It films crisp full HD 1080p and 720p video. It shoots 18mp pictures in raw and/or jpeg. It is also weather sealed, so you can shoot in light rain or snow with no worries. This is the best consumer camera that Canon makes. It is also very good for low light photography as well. It blows the entry level cameras out of the water in all aspects.
It has a very low shutter count of 33,696. This camera is rated up to 150,000 actuations.

They just released a new firmware update for the camera. That tells us that they will not be replacing this camera for a while.
Asking $1,095
I bought it new in 2010 for $1,800. Futureshop currently has it for sale at $1,400+tax = $1,566
I’ve upgraded to a new full frame camera, and I don't have a need for a high end backup camera.
Please note that this does not include any lenses as I’m using them on my new camera.
