Buddy sold his 2br condo in Richmond last month.
Same building, same floor, same floor plan, sold for 50k more than his just today. He is.... yea...

I was surprised to see Richmond Rivergreen shuttle bus still driving around the other day.
I thought owners would shut that down in no time since most owners would either be driving or not live there...

Need to have a realtor look it up once it's completed. They have what is essentially a reverse MLS login can see sales history, prices etc

Bcassessment website shows sale prices, but there is quite a bit of a lag from when they get updated.

They only show sales history for the last 3 years and the sale price is only displayed when the new assessment comes up I beleive

Time will tell. Could be like the states before.. everyones purchasing on loans they can't affords. One thing I've learned from working in the finance industry. a LOT of people just don't know how to plan/budget their finances. Its kinda insane the things I've seen people do lol

BC Assessment/EvalueBC gets updated regulalry but takes data from the land title office and registration of the completed sale. Usually updated 2 to 4 weeks after the sale actually closes and title is registered to the purchaser.

Yea the timelines seem sketchy for when they are posted. I've seen sales figures posted one day then removed the next

So Liberals have a chance of falling if the NDP and Green Party form a coalition. Green party wants a 30% tax on foreigners and NDP wants a 2% surcharge on empty homes plus bunch of stuff to close loopholes/assignments etc. Anyone else think there's going to be uncertainty in the markets ahead?

I'd say.

Sun Tower sold out by a small Chinese developer at nearly $1200/ft last month.
Goldhouse was a bargain at $600/ft late 2015.

MET sales are $950/ft recently.
MET2 assignments are stopping soon as construction is wrapping up. Better hop on that - though the 28th floor one is gone last I checked. $500K one still available but it's much lower floor.
