They flaunt the wealthy lifestyle. Aston Martins, gym days fer days, 5 star meals etc. Not sure if it's a front because social media or they're actually doing well for being meatheads.

Either way, I put them in the same category as Albertan oil workers.

That and almost every listing video from any realtor is feels like it's the same music they use. Same angle shots. Basically claiming a LUXURY good price home for MILLIONS. lol

I find that those types of people typically have poor money management skills. Little to no savings, high rates of shitty consumer debt (im not talking the real estate or business kind..more like credit cards and lines of credit, financing all sorts of stuff from cars to jewellery, not to mention a bunch of delinquent accounts on their credit report.

Send that RE agent my way. I need a dishwasher ASAP. He'll even get a raise.

So as a quick update - we just accepted an offer of full price, no subjects all cash, with our preferred dates. Hard to say no to that... there was an expectation that we might have had multiple offers tomorrow but given how clean this one was, it was an easy decision.

The first thing to come to mind when I read that was a person showing up to your house with a briefcase full of cash.

Congrats.

50 groups in 2 days and a cash offer after less than a week on the market. Lots of people are drinking the Port Moody Kool aid.

True that, but the buyer is not a young couple excited to spend time at the breweries - from what my realtor said, seems to be a single middle aged woman.

I'm by Edmunds and with the new SouthGate City there would be tons of people flooding in. They just started posting for CedarCreek, pricing starts at 500k for a 633sqft 1 bedroom

Isn't that always the case with Chinese? The civil war, and then to today using poison chemicals in food to make it look/taste better, gutlter oil, milk powder china milk powder scandal to the china vaccine scandal for kids and that happen two times already (once was 2 years ago and one was recently). I mean we Chinese just loves to screw over other Chinese :fuckyea::fuckyea::fuckyea:

Is like everymen for himself! As long as he gets what he wants the rest of the world doesn't mean anything to him.

absolutely! that's what happens when the majority of the chinese people focuses purely on familial lines and not society as a whole. That filial piety shit has been one of the greatest strengths and weakness of our culture for over 2000 years now.

It doesnt matter the entire country is going to hell, as long as my family is rich.

I think it's funny that people from China come because it's so clean and there's clean air and space and nature... and because it's not China, but then do everything possible to change it into exactly how China is.

Exactly, and this behaviour is ugly as sin.

She looks airbrushed as hell.

Also:

Do new developments still exclude the 4th / 14th floor?

If so, we need to bring it back. Anyone who doesn't like it (we know who) can fuck back off.

68style 09-18-2018 12:35 PM

Not just those floors bro... no apartments ending in 4 either... no 104 or 114 etc in my building lol!

G 09-18-2018 12:40 PM

Had my place listed for 2-2.5 months now, 1 offer in the first week that fell through, single digit showings in the weekends, some private showings here and there. Going to be taking it off and waiting till the spring :okay:

Detached? Condos? Where is it at?

From what I have been seeing while looking around is the location makes a difference. There are cheaper homes (800-900k loll) out in surrey but the location and the house needs a lot of updating. While the mid 900s-1m I a nicer location sells quicker. I still can't believe it will cost near a million to get a nicer detached in surrey now lol:(
