Oh they could also funnel all of the money out of ICBC when the taxes on laundered money didn't cover it I guess.

Considering Vancouver alone sold almost $14B worth in 2016, $1B isn't a whole lot. It's less than 10%. Compared to the $77B sold in BC, $1B is a drop in the bucket.

Been going to the Price Mart attached to station square there now for lunch a few times, I’ve been the only non-Asian person in the entire store (including staff) the last 3 times I’ve been in there.
In 5 years we’ll be arguing over 100% Chinese signs for businesses surrounding metro.

There are a ton of apartments going up and mostly purchase by Chinese some for profit (my cousin bought a few units but sold this earlier this year). I doubt people can get much profit from selling now due to the new policy starting next year.

They're both competing for the Chinese market, but it seems that it isn't doing so well, because T&T is always busy no matter what time you go, but Pricesmart is kind of slow even at times you'd think it would be busy.
