I have a condensing dryer due to space limitations. Love it. Doesn’t fry your close like a traditional dryer. It probably does heat up more as a result but mine is in a relatively tight spot and I don’t notice super excessive heat after running it

one of the keys is location. i've seen a design where it's just going to be placed out in the open in between the kitchen counter and living/dining area :heckno:

how much longer do you find it takes to dry clothes? and does it get actually dry or have that quasi-damp feeling like you just walked through a jungle? this is a trend in sustainable design and i have my doubts when i see this on say a passive house or step 4 building :suspicious:

i have mine in the open, you only really feel the extra heat when you walk in from the outside

it's not bone dry but not damp either, only if you load it past the limit then it'll have problem drying...mine spins up to 1200rpm so that's how it wring out a lot of the water before steaming it, just dont put really nice clothes in lol

It’s all about using the proper settings. And that’s what you will generally read with these dryers. A typical cotton load will take about 2 hours to dry. I’ve never noticed or been bothered in how long it takes as typically we just do laundry once or twice a week. It would probably be a bigger issue if you had a big family etc. But it’s just the wife and I

You can wash a duvet cover and sheets etc. And be done washing and drying in under 3 hours or so

Fuck me its so embarrassing to be even in the same city as these clowns.

Worse thing is they're making money hand over fist and getting rewarded for this kind of atrociousness.

Jesus fuck, this city has certainly changed since I was a wee one. I must sound old, but it's infuriating and depressing.

I thought that nobody could make anything worse than that dumpster fire of "Ultra Rich Asian Girls".

Oh wait.., the same director is producing "entertainment" that is more awful Mainlander shit.

FYI that's the same realtor that threatened a buyer with her triad connections.

Million dollar home sales but looks like their crew still shops at Le chateau?

6793026 02-10-2021 11:31 PM

for someone that's making 1/2 a million dollars a year, wtf would you even want to participate in these cheap ass shows
a) definitely ain't in it for the money
b) fame and just said they have done it I guess..
ugh...

westopher 02-12-2021 07:39 AM

People see them in those clothes and don't believe they are making any money, so they are doing the show so they can prove it.

rb 02-12-2021 08:02 AM

Worked with an older asian woman like that who's been in vancouver real estate for over 40 years when some her main clients were just starting out as developers. She's probably worth at least 20 million and is still going after it hard in the real estate game. They're even more sickening human beings in real life. We called her the dragon lady in the office for a reason.
