Str8 up, Get the RSX-S if you want a nice little fun car, but if i were to get the SI i'd get it in 4 door just because they offer that and rsx is 2 door. but basicaly same shit... k20 for both cars but different versions if u have older rsx gen |
You can also get a 2007+ Si coupe, RSX only existed until 06... |
id go for the si if its mainly for daily driving, good on gas and availability of parts is a plus,i used to work with a guy who had an rsx and he was having transmission issues at 120k dont know if thats a commmon problem with the rsx though |
:yeahthat: |
Rsx Type S Modifications really make the rsx a nice car |
I would say rsx-s, since I had one before so I guess i'm being biased, but there are tons of time where I just wish I still had it, or have another one. My reasons are that it was reliable, had tons of trunk space, especially if you threw the back seats down, it looks great, and THAT vtec sound when it's nearing redline. Well you know what they say, slower cars are funner to drive than fast cars, and RSX's are the perfect example of it. btw I would only consider the type s models, and not the base. if not go for the civic si's |
^ nailed it on the "trunk space" |
Civic Si all the way :) way more fun to drive but I like the seats from the RSX-s |
I'd go for the Si for 1st Newer Car, 2nd LSD, 3rd Supportive seat. |
go for the rsx. as long as you keep up the maintenance, like any other car, you wont regret it. |
I'd go with the civic si more reliable |
in my mind the rsx is more likely to have been driven hard as the "s" trim pushed hp from 155 to 201 so I think a lot of people would have bought the S trim for the power plant. I realize the 2006 civic had similar power, but there are a lot of people out there who still buy a civic becuase its looked upon as fuel efficient and has Honda reliability. The RSX is more likely to have been driven like a sports car. My opinion anyway.... |
