I saw this preview before watching Skyfall last Friday. It looks pretty sweet! I wonder if its similar or a remake of the original that came out in 1966. But I'm not even sure if the two films are even related. According to Wikipedia Django Unchained is inspired by the 1966 film, with Franco Nero having a cameo.
IMDB says this movie comes out Christmas day of 2012 but the preview that I saw in the theatres said January 2013. Either or this film looks pretty sweet. Should be good!

My friend also pointed out that it's kinda weird sitting in a theatre without a single black person, and laughing when every other word is "nigger" in the movie.
He didn't really like it. I loved it, but it was very long. Christoph Walz makes the movie, again.

I saw a Jamie Fox interview when he said it was very hard for him to play a slave in the roll and hear that word so often. Leonardo also had a really hard time saying it to Jamie and SJ made some kind of joke about it which made things easier.
saw it a few days ago. love every second of it. excellent cinematography, awesome dialogue and brilliant actors. I didn't even realize samuel L jackson is in it until my frd told me afterwards!
Some parts of the movie were unnecessary and could of been edited out but it was a really entertaining movie. Christoph Waltz... what an amazing character
I thought it was a great movie and a perfect length if you are watching it at home which I was. Jamie Foxx is such a great actor and no questions asked Waltz made that movie.
to be honest, Life of Pi was a much better movie now that I've seen both.
Djanjo went thru a LOT of editing and they cut out TONS of useless parts, eg// the girl with the bandanna's face etc.
it was entertaining, I thought Waltz was great, but he wasn't epic, the script gave him the character but i thought DiCrap was much better. Waltz was epic in Ing. Bastards and not even close in this one.
it was long and it wasn't bad. Sam Jackson did a pretty good job I thought.
OH, did NOT like the ending with Waltz, i could understand, but did NOT like the ending.
wow christoph waltz got the oscar nod over di caprio. i thought di caprio overshadowed waltz in every scene. the dinner scene was acted out so greatly and that blood on his hand... ya, that was real.
good movie, but i thought it was a bit long and the end was bit rushed.
