Looking for recommendation for good CGA

Hi everyone,

So i've been making some self-employed income on the side and I realize that I will likely need to register for an HST number next year because my self-employed income will likely be over $30,000. At the same time, I'd like to figure out how to do deductions and things to reduce my tax burden if possible.

I'm looking for a good CGA that can help me with my tax and accounting issues. Preference would be for someone that's familiar with dealing with healthcare workers, but it is not mandatory. If anyone has any good recommendations, please let me know!

Thanks!

Didn't wanna create my own thread so I'll just bump this one.

Anybody work with or know a good accountant in east van/burnaby/richmond ? This is for a small incorporated business. I figured accountants in downtown would charge more? And since we are not in need of anything complicated yet we would like to cut costs where possible and find a reasonably priced accountant.

^ what do you need?

complicated in the accounting world is very subjective. some people think ''foreign exchange swaps" walk in the park, but other get a heart attack at the mention of a "bank reconciliation"

Hi Moldex,

I have a branch on Kingsway near Boundary. PM me for more details. Also be aware that most accountants charge per hour on files. Let's talk about your situation and requirements.
