I had 2 of the black ones because they didn't limit pre-orders, they were $400cad each after shipping costs... Sold one of them for $750 lol
I've got the white one and the "build it yourself" one too... But my actual NSX unicorn is a real 1:43 Ebbro Zanardi edition... Could only get it when you bought an actual Zanardi NSX and I think there were only 50 of those made?... And it's signed by the designer of the NSX too... Got it from a Honda employee in California who was selling memoribilia he had collected.
i paid more than $400 because of the crap exchange rate...sigh. i wish i knew about it when they first came out.
i looked online a bit and saw the unassembled one going in the 40000jpy range

I read on the NSX group on Facebook that Mark is apparently taking custom requests from people to paint one whatever colour you want for some ridiculous price. Not sure if that's true or not, the post-hobby website is kind of a black void for information.
I never built mine, too afraid of mucking it up hahaha
it is true. something like 98,000jpy(ish) for a bespoke one.
ps: i think i know a painter

I just got this in the mail today... well... Monday actually, but wasn't able to pick up the parcel until today!
I have to say the finish on this model is incredible, I thought it might be from the pictures, but in person it is amazing. Very impressive! I didn't even realize until reading today that they only ended up making 1,000 of these because of serious production issues and all the remaining ones got painted flat black to try and recoup losses on it lol

That's not the first time Delorean faced financial hardship
Always loved the Lotus Esprit V8's shape... picked this up off Craigslist pretty cheap even though yellow isn't my favourite colour. In retrospect though, after checking out the black and red versions with the beige interiors, I really appreciate the yellow with the black interior and yellow piping on the seats. Looks pretty good especially for an older Millenium model. Funny fact -- the headlights are spring loaded on this one unlike all the lever operated ones on the Signature Initial-D and NSX models.
so this showed up on my facebook feed... does anyone remember the wing on this model of a spoon dc2r from onemodel (preproduction model shown)? i don't remember if spoon ever had one like this

Yes, signature on the rear of the packaging. I opted to deal with the Australian Spoon dealer as the CAD/AUS exchange rate is better than switching to US funds; which is what most retailers adjust to in Canada.

Anyone know where I can grab a 2014+ Mazda 3 Sport model for a sub-$50 budget? Doesn't have to be anything crazy and detailed like all these above ones. Just looking for a Christmas gift for friend.
There's a first gen Mazdaspeed3 in gray or red that AutoArt made in 1:43 scale I don't think they're very pricey... Search for Mazda "MPS" or Axela they didn't call it a Mazda3/Speed3 in Asia and most models are Asian based.
There is a a Tomica, several Kyosho 1:64 and some 1:43 and 1:18 too if you search on eBay for the Mazda Axela. The AutoArt Speed3 hatch shows up when you search for Mazda MPS.
