figured i'd share though i don;t have the nice models like most of you but here's a few pics of the 1:18 ones i've collected in the 90s and have had to put away cuz kids.....though they've already taken a few down and are playing with them and as you can see in the pics the little bastards were trying to get them open before i put them away
I won this 1:6 scale Koeingsegg engine from Frontiart last year in their anniversary lottery contest. I had to enter one of their models, and at the time I only had this One:1 that had the unlucky build no. 13. Instead, it was super lucky and I became the 7th winner in the contest. Today Frontiart couriered this to me, and it's mental. It's also huge... also not sure where to put it at the moment

So a little while back I wanted a particular Ignition 1:18 model and it was crazy like $450+ on eBay so I kept looking around and found it in a Japanese website for way way way less... Was asking a friend in Japan to maybe get it for me and she pointed me to this website I've never seen mentioned here before:
They are attached to numerous Japanese stores including some toy stores and they tack on a pretty small fee for processing your order and shipping is totally reasonable, I ordered my model and paid PayPal and got a confirmation email but heard nothing for a couple weeks almost so I was getting a bit worried but I got a tracking number the other day and it's almost here so I think it will all work out. Will post later to confirm. The important thing to note is their model prices are super cheap from some of the vendors they deal with, like $70 or less for some of the Mark43 models etc.
@thumper: all said and done they're $100CAD when you factor in shipping to Canada and exchange rate. Curious what a local price would be?
not sure. i was hoping someone would risk the parking lot at aberdeen to go and find out for us

Was by the Aberdeen store on the weekend, they are indeed selling Mark, MakeUp LB Works Skylines and a few other things like some AutoArt and Kyosho 1:43. As expected prices are pretty high, $120 for the 1:43 models on average and the MakeUp LB's are $900 compared to $600 online... Ouch. He had quite a few GT spirit 1:12 models too, but I couldn't see the prices. Most Tomicas I could see prices for were up at the $30 level, also very ouch.
wow. he has the gt spirit lb458. i can see it in your pic top rh corner. and there is the green rwb porsche. those were overseas only. both go for mad money on fleabay.
