i've mentioned this place before for GT spirit and Ottomobile resin models, as well as some hotwheels stuff.

but for those of you who collect kyosho and ebbro small scale models, and tarmac in all scales,CAR79 Diecast Models is expanding their offerings and now officially carries them here locally. give them a try and see if their pricing and availability is better than going at it alone online:

how is everyone dealing with the impending postal strike? are you holding back from ordering, or pursuing other shipping options? if latter what are the they that are still affordable?

thankfully these arrived before things with canada post goes stupid... sadly, also an unintential reminder of the police shootings in texas.

these came as a pair. ACME diecast 1/18 scale dodge challenger srt8 texas highway patrol chase car with working lightbar, with a matching black on black ghost car. unfortunately the emergency lighting for the ghost came DOA but the seller is sending me replacement parts at his expense (phew).

actual car:

my preorder from torontomotorsports came in. it's one of the new "composite" autoart models that they are now coming out with... not sure what to think of it. the detail is still at autoart levels, but it just feels... cheap?
