If anyone of you is interested in Autoart STIs, I'm selling my WRX STI collection. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/...474131713.html |

So far, for me, putting a black paper barrier between the tire and the plastic base has ceased the damage. |

1 Attachment(s) Got myself a light box and started playing around with it... probably should have picked something less challenging than a reflective stainless steel finish lol |

I might be willing to sell my white hawk eye if the price is right. |

1) Picture is too cropped. Leave some space around the car. 2) Try to dewrinkle the background fabric 3) More lighttttttt. Maybe use a LED video light as a continuous light source, or you can try light painting! |

Ken Block fans eat your heart out.... Hi Everyone!! I just received this super cool model from Top Marques last week. Two words really describe this model...Super Cool! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/uu...=w1280-h854-no When Top Marques announced that they were going to produce this model last October, I knew I had to add this into my collection. I mean this is a really cool subject. Too bad Top Marques did not produce Ken Block's Monster Subaru...I wonder will they produce his Ford Focus??? Hmm... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Um...=w1280-h854-no Anyhow, here are some specs for this Mustang... It has a 410 cubic-Inch Roush Yates Ford V8 that pumps out 845 HP. It is 4wd. The tires are special order 295-width Pirellis mounted to a three piece 18 inch wheels. Here is a review of the "Hoonicorn" by Chris Harris. About the model: This is the first model from Top Marques that I purchased. Although LS Collectibles and Top Marques are the same company, Top Marques is the upscale brand. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/zs...Q=w835-h350-no The model is packaged and shipped very nice quality box. Once the cover is removed, the first thing I noticed is that the model is securely mounted to the base of the box with a base plate indicating only 1000 pieces are produced. The model is not numbered. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ps...=w1267-h950-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Uc...=w1267-h950-no Next, I was just simply in awe of this model. The first item that caught my attention is the decal work on this model. The decal work on this car is well executed. Top Marques applied a very thin layer of clear coat that sealed the decals nicely. There are no wrinkles or creases in the decal work, especially the on carbon front lip and front and rear bumpers. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Y4...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pe...=w1280-h854-no Next item I noticed was the big Air Scoop on the front hood. This is one of the signature features of this car. Although the air scoop is nicely detailed, I think Top Marques could have recessed and lowered the engine block down a little to create the illusion of depth, and they could of made the hood pins more 3D instead of a flat metal decal. Not a deal breaker here, but just little details. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/eh...=w1280-h854-no Next, item that I thought that were nicely replicated are the 18" three piece gold rims. If you want to add more depth to the rims, I would recommend doing a light black wash. This will make the rivets on the rims stand out a little more. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/1r...=w1280-h854-no The interior of the model is nicely reproduced. Everything from the roll cage, carbon dash, shifter's and bucket seats are made well. But, one detail that Top Marques missed is the word "Hoonigan" on the gold hand brake lever. They have the red button on top, but no Hoonigan. This is one of the signature pieces of this car... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/JK...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/4N...=w1280-h854-no Comparing to images found online, the overall shape of the body is accurately reproduced. Top Marques did a excellent job. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ct...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_g...=w1024-h682-no Real Car Overall, I am very impressed with this model. Yes I know there are a few minor details that Top Marques missed, but as I mentioned - these are not deal breakers. This model is already sold out on the Top Marques website. If you can get one, do it.... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a4...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/zt...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/jj...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Va...=w1280-h854-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_5...=w1280-h854-no Comments are welcomed. Happy Collecting! William |
