The red NSX (non Type-R) does come up for sale in the $300 range... you can never establish a value for something based on what someone is "trying" to sell if for on eBay... he will never sell one at that price and if he does then good for him he found a pretty big sucker haha...
I think everyone would agree the GPW NSX Type-R always looks the best. The yellow is very interesting to see in person (it doesn't look anything like it does in photos, it's way more pearl and lighter in person) and the red is cool too... but white and Type-R are Honda classics together.
I'll take the R34 off the stand tonight and check!

I took some pics of the R34... I think what you're seeing with the back jacked up is because for some reason where it is bolted to the base in the back, they put spacers on the back portion... so the back tires are farther away from the base in the air than the front tires. I tried to take pics with a post-it note marking the tires off to show the difference:
Back wheel:
Same mark on the front wheel you can see the difference (front wheel is lower):
Out of the box I think it sits pretty flat? You can really see the colour difference on the bumpers here though -- it's more pronounced than in person, but definitely noticeable! |

Still a bit much I think... but definitely better than $700-1200 haha

that bumper bothers me... can you exchange it? did you buy it at a store or online?

That said, if you go on eBay and search for jade millenium AutoArt... even the stock AutoArt photos show the paint difference............. so I am thinking they are all like this.
I notice a couple oft he GT-R badges aren't entirely straight either. Me thinks AA is either pumping out too many models too quickly or spending more of their Q&A time on the Signature line nowadays.

There are a few sellers from ebay that are selling it, but I'm afraid it's not the limited edition one..
Should I be better off ordering directly from Autoart?

autoart usually does asia and europe first since the cars are made in china. i still remember back in 1999 i bought their first release r34 gtr while in hong kong for xmas and when i came back home few weeks later wilkinsons was still taking orders for it.
